New Scent List-click to enlarge

Well, I finally took the time to set it up, the scent list for the soaps. Closing the shop and trying to fit a full candle and soap making biz into my lil' kitchen has been quite a job. My pantry is full of 5 gal. buckets of soy butter, palm, coconut and olive oils. Shelves house the dried herbs, tins of lye and molds to hold the soaps, a drying rack to hold the drying cakes of soaps and all the utensils that have to be kept separate from the other soap supplies. My little back porch houses pitchers of soy wax and boxes and boxes of jars.
But just to have the ability to work out of my home makes it worth the effort...no traffic, no driving in the snow, low overhead. Now if Scratchy could just let herself out to pee... Last year after the tornado blew through across the highway from my home, I had a sinking feeling in my stomach that morning that I should take her with me to my work an hour away, as I knew storms were forecast. No sooner did I get to work then my daughter called and said a tornado just went by her house and destroyed the city of Fruitland, which is just down the road from me. I knew if it went through Fruitland it went by my house. I have never driven so fast to get home in my life...through the storm that was coming my way...didn't care...family and dog and my lil' pink chateau was all I cared about at the time. This is the first tornado that has hit our city, but my family narrowly missed the destruction by literally feet. The home across the highway from me was torn in half...we were lucky.

So now it's me and the dog running the shop at home and loving it. Now if Fruitland would get their destroyed Post Office built again, I'd be set.

So now you have the story and the list...which means I have my ducks in a row...and you have addictions to feed...yummy hand-did soaps...
