Almost there...

Settings are finally starting to take shape, as we find all the stuff packed away in boxes...

I've been crazy busy making soaps too, trying to get the shelves all filled before our June 5th open house...not to mention the orders that are filing in from my friends out of state
and those in the area.

We are having way too much fun arranging, you know how it goes and having a new space to work out of, really makes the creative juices flow.
We had quite a few curious souls walk in yesterday afternoon, some seeing the marquis sign, which surprised me, but after listening to what they are saying, they really want the mall to come alive again.

Many of these women walk the mall in the winter months, out of the weather...
we got a comment from one saying we broke her stride, as she couldn't resist taking a sidetrack through the shop...
yeah, that's what I'm talkin' about!
Having the dance studio right across the hall, gives us a lot of visibility to those socker/dance moms that are waiting on their kids.

We are open today for biz, so stop out and say high to Pipes...
I'm home makin' soap...
See ya there...

Just a peak...

As you can see, there isn't much of a draw on the sign...YET...
but we are hearing more enthusiasm from people maybe interested in doing a business out there
and certainly more of the public that want the mall to live again.
There are actually 30 business' out there right now, way more than in the downtown area.
They just need more big name stores and clothing stores...

OK, just a little peak at what a candle shop will provide...candle warmers and tart warmers for the ever popular candle crumbs that Piper crumbles up from the same candle scents.
Don't forget to bring in your clean jars for candle refills...it really saves you the bucks...
and it's recycling!!!

...always the old junk...I mean great stuff...
they make the best displays for the candles and the soaps!

Hey, I can't goof off here, I have soap to make...

Later!!!

Respect the wild things...

A young gal came into the shop the other day with the coolest window, she wanted a hunting scene for her husband for Christmas...can you pull this off???

Well, as you can see, the window has six panes...hmmmm...how am I gonna pull this one off for just $45.00...then I got to thinking, why not do a view from the window...like the young man is looking out his window and sees a day of tramping in the cornfields...whatta ya think...

Align Center
...as one of my cement waterfowl lies buried and frozen into place by winter's fury...supposed to be 40 degrees by Sunday, maybe this lil' pelican will see the light of day and Lorie and I can finish our move in the Amanas...hope so!
