WOWZA...!talk about a growing spurt, these are the same sprouts
from yesterday's shot, just goes to show ya what a
90 degree, high humidity day will do in Iowa.
LUNCH...I cooked up the first batch of beans,not enough to can or freeze and besides, you have to
eat the first batch anyway...I think it's the law
or sumthin'...add a fresh from the vine sliced tomato
to the mix and you got lunch...

Say hello to my lil' friend...last year there was a baby toad hatch out at the
mall, they were getting in under the doors out there,
so I was gathering them up to bring home...
my first years crop...HA!

Spaghetti squash...one of my faves!!!
I always plant my cukes on the same fence as thesnow peas, by the time the peas are done,
the cukes have taken over, can you say relish...
and sweet chunks, if I get enough!
and more rhubarb for the freezer...mmmmm,those pies will be tasty this winter...
I can't believe I said the 'W' word,
shiver me timbers...
