How 'bout pink...

 Yup, sure is pink,
in your face pink and why not...
couldn't ya just see this in some
young couples dining room, or
her first apartment.

 and pink frame to match,
would be cool with a mirror in it.

and of course, the before shot...
it's a big ol' HEAVY table,
but what fun!

Parched...

 Everything is so dry,
the squall lines dry up when they hit
the parched earth...

dry bones of gardens stunted by weather
events, extreme early warm weather,
then frost after frost, then dry...

 even the drought resistant wild
flowers have suffered...

dill is coming along, as is the celery,
waiting for the recipes of winter treats...

first zinnia opens to dry, cloudy skies...

Brussel's sprouts n broccoli are gittin big...

Scratch sniffs the marigolds
and the eggplant sets forth their
purple fruits...
mmmmm...eggplant parmesan,
is it ready yet!

Mystery gardening...

My 9 inch tall green beans...

Yellow beans not much taller and I already
got a hand full of beans off of them,
but again, the plants are so small
and spindly.

and as you can see, the rows have bare spots
and I planted eggplant in half the
bare row.

I've replanted two more times, so
we'll see how this planting goes...

The beets are still puny, but growing, I've
planted another half row, the spinach
is very slow to start...and one seed
of my lettuce planting germinated,
not gonna be much of a salad summer...
Snow peas took forever to break ground
and the vines are spindly, but I've gotten
3 meals and more on the way,
but it's so dry I'm watering every other day.
Also had my first zucchini, this is the
size I like um, sauteed with Parmesan...
I still think the chem trails are the cause, they block
out the sun's rays and are filled with
aluminum and barium, the government's plot
to sterilize the soil and it's working.
I've talked to many gardeners all over
the US that say the same thing,
seeds are just not germinating.
But, I'll enjoy my fruits all the same...
that is after I wash off all of the nuclear fallout
with filtered water and peroxide...
gimme back the good ol dayz!!!

Play time...

My latest piece heading to Sister's Garden,
don't you just love this green,
what a statement this would make
with any wall color...

 Fun alternative furniture from Pinterest...

I used to love doing this kinda stuff back
in the day, glad to see it's coming back
into fashion.

Love these great looks...
guess I better go look for some stuff, huh!

Sundown...lil' house on the prairie...

 Puttin' the girls to bed...
after an afternoon's bug hunt,
my American Peckers head in for the
night, I love chickens...

first come first served to the roost...
a 4x4 doesn't give a lotta room to roost,
especially keeping the poop outta the feed,
but...

this Future Farmer of AMERICA
is always scheming!!!
