Life on the prairie...

My lil' pink shack...the source of my joy
and the food source for my bees...

My hive...I only have one hive, just
enough honey for me n my family, the
rest is reserved for the bees...yummo...

Working, working, working, busy as bees...

As I turned around, there was someone
standing in my path...scared the crap
outta me...my dad looking for me...

So I took a selfy...
me, my pops and the bees...life is good!!!

Sharon, that is so sweet, both the bees and your Dad. I stepped on bees daily as a child, barefooted with a yard full of clover. I'm too scared today to keep bees though I would love too. The little pink house does look different with all the ivy? Give me a biscuit and honey over a steak any day.

Your pink house looks so enchanting with all the ivy and the country garden all in bloom. I love that you raise bees. I would like to turn doing that, but my hubby doesn't like the idea. So, I just raise flowers to bring them to our yard and help pollinate the garden. How wonderful to have your Dad . . . he looks like a real sweetie pie. I miss mine dearly. Have a lovely day and enjoy that honey:)

The Ivy Clad Cottage is Storybook Perfect! Wish Ivy and Vines grew better here... Love them! Don't know that I could be a Bee Keeper, we mostly have the Killer Bee variety here in AZ and they aren't really Sociable. *smiles* Dawn... The Bohemian
