LOL one good thing about peas is they LOVE the cold... Wow we have about 3- 4 inches here in Maine and it is turning to rain which means ice...that I do not like!!! You have some girls just like mine...I love the way they sashay around the yard...like they have on a bustle...LOL Stay warm!!
totally bare ground yesterday and temps at low 50's and sunshine. MY kind of mid January day. Today 32 and dropping. Snowed all afternoon. Drats! I will be in boots. Drats! Stopped into the store to stock up, a usual winter time activity. Can't be caught for long without milk, you know.KEEP the snow, woman. I don't want it.in fondest. Tilda
I smile = smile = smile as I read this post. I had a yard sale today and it was absolutely gorgeous. Around 70. Tomorrow 60. However, I lived in Iowa just north of Davenport for years and years. (Now live in Florida.) You just reminded me again why I left the prairie. And I don't shed a tear. Please forgive me.Enjoy.
Wow!! You got snow!! It looks totally awesome...Yea,yea, I know, it's ok for me "down under' where we get no snow, but don't you see to me it just looks so romantic.Wish I was there in all that whiteness.
..well, what can i say? all your Iowa white hit Michigan in a blast. The whole west side and 30 miles south of us (mid Michigan) to the bridge is closed today. Razzle-frazzle. i shoveled for 1/2 hour this morning a path to the wood stove, and this afternooon will shovel out the garage doors. have i mentioned lately i hate wint.....?oh, yes, probably.in fondest, Tilda with the Kamakazi hat, the BOOTS on, and out of chocolate.
Boo Whoo!! I was looking forward to a visit with you! Oh well may be in a few weeks!tot
Were they English peas you planted? I didn't know they could be planted this early. I'll be buying some seeds this weekend. I love peas. Oh, and since Antartica is my vision of hell, I understand the cold thing. I am a winter baby and still can't stand the cold. Go figure.
I don't love the SNOW - But I LoVe your snowy pics...Jeanine Burkhardt
