Shadow Shot Sunday...the last bits of it...

Itty bits of summer still linger in shadows,
as I drag in the remnants of the season
out of the winter's path...

 Skeletal remains...

and shrubbery dragged into safe climes,
lucky Australia going into Spring...
well, you know the rest of the story,
it's Hey, Harriet time...

Well, we cannot stop the seasons, winter will send its icy midwest winds across the gently rolling lands. However, the sun is still out there and it has not turned icy - yet. So enjoy the sunny plains as best you can!

It's time to cocoon inside and dream of spring.

You really have captured the last days of Summer, love the second shot.

Still chilly here in NZ, with snowstorms down South at present. Can't wait to feel some warmth and sunshine.

Have a great week.

Bye-bye summer! You captured the last bits of it well.

But spring will be back, eventually. It's a reward for enduring the cold of winter.

Love all the whites in your world contrasting with and displaying all the shadow shapes! Delightful!

Perhaps the seasons have turned at last! Yesterday was like a summer's day - 30C degress! Today about 25C with smidgeons of grey but still delightful! I have spent hours walking the sands and taking photos! Awesome skies over Port Phillip Bay in the early morning and evening!

I've had my 2nd hydrodilatation ibn my shoulder trying to losening it! This time was a far less horrific experience than the first one! And already my arm is getting freer movement! I'm just so relieved! Have to take care this week not to stir up the inflammation, but I think all my weekend walking helping to ease it all into action again! It's like the never-ending story! I did such a good job making up for all the breaks I didn't have as a child!

Hope you and Scratchy have a wonderful week and not too busy! Take a little time to wander and just be! So good for the soul!

BIG HUGS as always!

It looks cold despite the sunshine. I love the interior shot particularly.

Gosh, you made me look at the back yard. Now I need to get someone to get things in, I see snow in the forecast for later next week. I've been under the weather, but on the mend, just in time for old man Winter to piss me off, you're right, Lucky Australia!

Peace
