For those asking on the progress of 'the flock'...
My mini coop...
I've been winterizing the coop in anticipation
of what lies ahead...WINTER...
today the electric water heater gets plugged in!
The water is frozen totally, with 28 degree temps this AM,
I'll be collecting eggs more frequently...
The hen fruit...
and my harvest, bigger n better...YUMMM...
are ya green yet!!!

I love it! Its So cute, I want a flocker! Did u design the lil building yourself? I love the detail around the top of the posts, so pretty! :) I hope all goes well for you and the girls this winter. Green power!

Totally green, your girls are looking pretty happy.
I have some of the Barred Cross too... They always look like they are walking with a bustle on...I love them...Love the little chicken coop too!!
It is nice to have your own eggs..
