Shadow Shot Sunday...3 degrees...

It's baaaack...
and at 3 degrees, this shot came from my
kitchen window...nuff said!

There is a reason I don't like working in the city...
winter colds, I picked one up from a passer-by,
someone that just couldn't stay home and convalesce...
no, they just had to spread the germs near and far and...
well, you know the rest of the story!
But tis the season to work 7 days a week in retail,
so, it is what it is!
Sorry if I don't get back to comment on your shadows,
but soon I'll have a new computer and all will be right
in the world again...well, faster anyway!
Have a great SSS friends,
go here!

ohhhh....SO jealous of the snow! Living in Houston we see snow about once every 10 years. Great shadow shots too. Merry CHRISTmas Ya'll!

Slightly off kilter...happily, it was not the ambient temperatures, too. That is, I hope it's not that cold!

hey sweetie, damn it IS cold out there. I'm not liken it. My sympathies (your cold) i managed to not get sick before we leave. I can't believe it. Getting a new computer! GOOD for you. It sure sucks having a s-l-o-w computer. Chicken soup and rest.

What? You didn't want to go outside to get your shadow shots for the week?

IF I WERE A SHADOW

If I were a shadow,
I would seek the light;
There I would glow sleekly,
Black and shiny bright!

I love your shadows once again this week!
If no one picks up hosting SSS, I will still post my shadows as I have done for so many years. I do have an 'email subscribe' on my blog, so if you want automatic notification of my SSS posts, sign up for that. I don't post everyday, usually twice a week. If you visit me, I will surely visit you (but we have to leave comments so that we know we were by).

Gentle shadows in a quiet world! These photos are so beautiful! But I guess I don't know what it's like to like with snow on a daily basis!

Our summer is still struggling to find some identity! Thunderstorms last night + pouring rain, raining this morning and now some bleak sun! Who knows?

great shadows! we had a huge freak snow storm and power outages for a week back in October...then weirder, it was in the upper fifties for two weeks! Getting chilly again, like it is supposed to...I live in NH after all!

What beautiful snowy shots...wow, it is cold. I do not know if I could handle those temperatures. Wonderful shadow shots and the slant at which you took them is fascinating to view. Great job.genie

beautiful pics - shadows....snow...everything. Difficult to imagine here - even though we are having a 'cold' start to summer but these shots certainly spark the imagination. Hope your cold disappears quickly.

3 degrees? Yikes! I wish people would stay home when they're sick too! I really have issues sharing packed trains/buses with people who are coughing and sneezing all over me. Gross!

Thank you so very much Sharon for all of your wonderfully entertaining contributions to SSS over the years. Yes! YEARS! We've been doin' this little shadow thing for a long time now! Thankfully some lovely volunteers have stepped forward and a team has been formed to take over the hosting. I'm really happy about this! Details will be posted on my blog next Sunday. And seriously, thank you so much for everything. You've been such a pleasure to get to know!
