I do so relate to "shadowless days"! I always love your captures though -- with or without shadows! Hope you have a great weekend, Sharon!

Shouldn't all those Ball jars be filled with your harvest before the usual and brutal Iowa winter??

the color of november. and as much as i hate the dreaded snow.. the color of november and december yet without snow is dismal and depressing. it is always a sad time of the year for me, unless, UNLESS, you can see the beauty of the barren trees. THOSE i love to see, with their empty leaved arms. their true character comes out. perhaps in my quest for the truth, i had to get down to the bare branches. but alas, they were not shown to me. those branches are veiled in secrecy. but i made it thru that day. kept my honor, ate a HUGE chocolate fudge brownie, with ice cream, whipped creme, and more chocolate sauce to celebrate that day being over. chocolate makes anything better. even the loss of mom's estate, which i could not save. yes, even that...
Tilda, beginning again
letting it go...

our worlds just collided. MI and Iowa...grey, rain. no shadows today. good day to sit on the computer and look at everybody elses sun.
may go get our Christmas tree today. i have a photo shoot next weekend and it would be nice to have the house in it's Christmas attire for the shoot.
hope sun graces your life soon. see later for coffee.

I love the first photo of the jars! The shots of trees are excellent - full of atmosphere!

ha! the sun has been AWOL around here too, and today it's raining. a hard cold rain but I kind of like it. in the central part of the state it's snowing - hard! You've somehow managed to cheer me up with your photos of gray days though - they're moody and introspective. At least you've kept your sense of humor and you're always consistent with that! I hope the sun comes out for you tomorrow. happy SSS Sharon.

Good try kiddo! I guess all of the shadows have come to rest here in sunny Phoenix. That top, non-ShadowShot, photo of the jars and bottle is really a good one. Happy SSS to you.

Shadowless indeed, but very interesting.

Sorry! I'm still chuckling! The misty mystery of your photos is just so beautiful! All are veiled with shadowy light! You did win!

Well, time for us to chase the universal game every w/end. However, we have stormy weather, therefore, I stayed inside but, shadowless? Your post is a great idea to show your ability of casting your camera captures.

Have a great Sunday.

I wonder where your eyes are, there are plenty of shadows in each shot . . . they are just muted and soft.

well in my little corner of 'down under' we also had grey skies and no shadow and we are supposed to be enjoying the beginning of summer. Alas I'm sitting here under grey skies with jumpers and hot water bottle. Love your shots - so evocative and full of story :)

Alas in my little corner of 'down under' we also have grey skies and I'm back to wearing jumpers as well. So much for the start of summer.... sigh. Such evocative pics... full of story :)

Hi~ Just stumbled upon your blog recently from Dawn @ Bohemian....

Shadowless...but the last one has a misty, almost ethereal look to it.
