Geez it's fun outside...

Did I mention I love my post hole digger...
bought an old porch post at
The Junk Asylum the other day,
cause I had a plan...

and I had a bird house and a really
cool hook...isn't it cute...

I heart my old rose bush...

Tiny lil' rosebuds are all over the bush,
it survived all of the frosts to
bloom again...
I love summer!

Oh wow. You have a gazing ball, a.k.a yard globe, lawn ball, garden ball, gazing globe, mirror ball... :)
It looks so nice nestled amongst the strappy leaves.
And that beautiful old post is the perfect support for your cute, funky little bird house.
Your garden is charming and magical.

OM goodness girl......very cool post!! You're going to have to start charging admission to your garden paradise!
We're knee deep in ticks around here--really! And of course I have taken in a little stray dog that is transporting all of them into the house, despite Trifexis, Advantix, or whatever the vet sends me home with!

too many frosts, too many freezes, too many nights in the 20's...my gardens are either stunted or dead.
i breathed in the aroma of the ONE lilac blossom that survived on the huge towering bush. ONLY one. The rest are all dead.
of the 100 tall white tulips that normally grow and make my heart smile, i believe i only have 3-4. and the predicted frosts of tonight and tomorrow night in the mid 20's will probably finish them off. i said we would pay for the 85 degree days of mid March. we are.
but as devastating as my flower/ herb gardens are to me, to the local fruit tree growers it is a major loss with nearly all crops gone. so i will be content, left only to your gardens. and hope that all the flowers to plant, not the perennials, that i bought will stay safe covered on the porch for a better day, or week, or month....
