My strawberry bed...notice red twine in circle...
as I was pulling tree seedlings out, I was
pulling them back to find strawberries...
SURPRISE...!
four li' tiny mouths popped open, what a
surprise, I've NEVER in all my years
of gardening had a nest in my strawberries...
so much for the natural predator decoy...
I researched and believe they are
field sparrows...sweet huh!!!
A day in the life!

How sweet!!!!!!
They look like baby bluebirds which is exactly what I have in my garden obelisk! So cute!
What an amazing find, how cute they are...
Sharon,
what a great photo. I hope they make it. nothing should be able to get them. We had our little cardinals fly the nest this past two days. Yikes, it was a chore for their parents. I have not seen or heard the parents today..i hope they return. Smiles, Susie
