A Princess and her Father...

A little girl grows up...

...and becomes a woman, the reflection of her parents, yet a personality all her own.
I was a single mom, divorced from her father many years ago, yet Piper maintained a relationship with Rick, an understanding, though not around each other much, as their separate lives moved on, in his last days, they talked and released all that would've torn them apart...they had a connection that they just knew in their hearts was true.

They expressed their love for each other and felt closure in their souls...
her dad passed away Sunday evening
leaving his only child with a heart filled with love

and loving memories...

This post made me cry.....my kids lost their Father(yesterday was 2 months)

Though he lived closed the relationships became a bit strained. We have a beautiful daughter and a handsome son together.

On March 6th..he would have been 41.
Through the hurts, sorrow and bitter dis~appointments...they were able to hang on to SOME kind of relationship.

I only wish he would have shared some of his deepest thoughts with them...they knew he loved them but....he could not always show it.

His death hit me hard and we have been divorced~over 10 years....I can only imagine what the children feel..your daughter included.

My kids are 21 and soon to be 19....just growing into their adulthood. I am not sure the age of your beautiful daughter but no matter age...death of a loved one is always a rough road....good days~bad days.

Blessings to you and your daughter :)

She's beautiful and I can see both you and her father in her good looks. This is hard on you as well, I'm sure- this is a man you once loved and the father of your child - my heart goes out to you both. Give Piper a hug from one old lady in Utah..

He's the real loser -- he missed so much. She's lucky to have you -- & you, her. What would we do without our daughters!!!!! Beautiful post. Jan
