Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee......

I'm so happy with my new room...

I started to paint the first coat of white...loving it!!!

Then my favorite part...the distressing or applying the mold...

Then, I was talking to TOT of Time Worn Interiors about not painting the inside, in case someone down the road wanted to strip the piece...
she says...PAINT THE BITCH...
Well...since I don't plan on ever getting rid of the piece...WHY NOT!!!

TO DIE FOR!!!

Thanks TOT!!!

Told ya!!!

The finished piece...now it's time to purge...
everything inside must go...
the Roseville is history
time for a reality check...
do I really need all this stuff...!

Leave it to TOT to express it in words we all can understand! It looks amazing. I have a "family" piece I am so tempted to that to...think anyone would notice?

Looks good with the Roseville pottery inside - nice contrast to the white!

I will be honest ..when I first saw your "before" picture, I wanted to say NO! You can't paint that wood!! BUT... I kept my mouth shut cause my Mamma always told me, if you don't have anything nice to say..well, you know the saying. LOL...And now, after seeing the end result...I must bow down to you...what a wonderful look. You must tell me all your secrets! Email me!
