Autumn twins...

Yup, it's in the air fer sure,
leaves are falling, squirrels are gathering,
but mostly playing
and the air is crisp...
but I'm not seeing the signs of a hard winter,
YET...
The only birds I hear are chickens
and the Canada geese, but they are infrequent.
I think it will be a long mild winter
in Iowa anyway...
whattaya think Tilda???

Conjoined squarsh twins...I mean squash...
hey, it's the Midwest
and we're hicks...

conjoined tomater twins...TOMATO...

Funky harvested gems...YUMMM...

FREAKKKKYYYY TWINS...

just a bit of wiring and they're ready to go...!
I managed to find twin dolls
and twin lamps...sooooo...

How freaky are those vegetables?
And your dolls are cool, even if they are a little freaky looking.

Hope you are enjoying the late Summer harvest from your garden

winter? far off? fall...yet? i think it has been fall in Michigan for most of August. looks like it, smells like it. the shadows have been fall shadows for weeks.
this morning we had 35.8 degrees and frost.
i still have to find the wool socks. but todays chores are stacking the rest of the wood in the wood shed, so guess probably i WILL WARM up.
i am SO NOT ready for fall. i am digging out my long underwear for under jeans today. no outside wood stove hooked up to go yet. but the little fireplace warms the farmhouse. DRATS. will this be the first utterance of I HATE WINTER?
most likely, and likely NOT the last, either.
have a good day!
at least the sun is shining or we would probably have SNOW.
in fondest. Tilda (& Oliver)

This is my favorite time of year. It's been in hi 70's to low 80's , with a long cool morning to start the day. I run out, get my outside stuff done and then enjoy the heat 'cuz I know what's coming.

Love the cracked kids,BTW

OK. It's official. Those nightlights are definitely freaky but probably right up somebodies alley! I love the veggie twins and envy that you're still getting squash and tomatoes. Everything in my garden quit!

Loving your Siamese Veggies... and though I've seen those Addams Family inspired Nightlights and think they are way cool, I'm afraid it would freak the G-Kids out so much I'd NEVER get them to sleep! *LOL* I don't know that we'll EVER get Fall to arrive around here, we've had the fiercest Summer on record and still the temps are pegging at over 110 degrees daily! *insert me feeling like spontaneously combusting!* I was trying to get into an Autumn Vibe and going to break out the faux Pumpkins and put them on the porch, but I'm afraid they might warp/melt/sizzle and fry out there?! Most definitely could not attempt the real deal, they'd cook for sure!!!
