There...I said it...the F word...

FALL...

...there I said it again...the new soap scents will be coming out in full force, as I listen to the squirrel chatter and winds of fall, ever so slightly entering into our world...

...the thieves are about squirreling away for the hard times ahead...and the walnut trees are dropping their leaves...

...there are vacancies everywhere...

...catching the last rays, as the days shorten and leaves begin to fall...

...RATS...well voles anyway, you can always tell when fall is coming...the hounds resume the hunt...good dog Scratchy!!!

...and so the cycle continues...

Good shot of the squirrel on the sunflower. Love the birdhouse surrounded by flowers.

I wonder if Scratchy could be this good at the two legged variety.
I am ready for fall. We had thunderstorms this morning and it never sounded so sweet!

Your purple soap is so pretty and I bet it smells equally as nice!

Hey Girlie,
It's so strange, you mention 'Fall' today....
As I was walking outside, this morning, barefooted, with the cold, heavy dew, soaking into my pant cuffs, I got the sense, of, dare I say it, Fall...
The year has been flying so fast, I hadn't really thought about the season, 'til it met me outside this morning, with a whisper, strange...
I hope to get to your store soon, I know it will be a delight!

The squirrel is great! They love those sunflower seeds. I wish I'd have had Scratchy a few years back when we had moles. He'd have made short work of them!

Our air is like fall today too. Have had the windows & doors open for a change. Maybe what I have is a vole. It looks just like yours. I saw one today -- could you put Scratchy on a Greyhound. I'll pick him up at the station. Jan

OOhhhh...FALL...truly? Here in FLahriduh...as you well know...the temp is still blazin', the humidity is 110%, and we sometimes use other alphabet related words when speaking of the weather...oh well, 'tis home & I can gloat in mid January when the rest of the country is in the deep freeze. Have a great weekend, transplanted Floridian! *elaine*

LOL....the "F" word!
I don't think I know anyone that doesn't love fall! It is MY favorite time of the year and it is coming; the morning air is crisp wtih it's coming.
Love the vole too!

I felt the first kiss of fall yesterday while smoking a turkey for dinner. It still LOOKS like summer but that breeze was distinctly fall.

And great job by the doggie. Terriers are as terriers do.
