It's All Hallows' Evelet us wander the night
little children beware
of this horrible sight
Bodies of babies wander in fear
decapitated charmers
of your belov'd dear
don't seek the night nor the field
of the farmers
Beware of the of the red light
that glows in the shadow
on this wicked night
the eyes of the babies lost in the hollow
If it's fun that you seek
then look to down under
go to Harriets' freaks
where the goblins all wonder
Why babies with no head
play this horrible game
it's all in fun on the night of the dead
or maybe for profit...is there no shame
OK, that was shameless advertising, but what a great time of year to do it,
'Cracked in the Head' nightlights delight all year long,
as do the games at Harriets' down under...
come play our shadow games, we're waiting!

Ooh, creepy! Great shadows, though - and there's nothing wrong with a bit of subtle advertising ;-)
Wow to the 10th degree! Awesome compositions by way of images and prose.
Have a spookalicious day!
Creepy for sure but GREAT. Happy Halloween.

The best 'magic' is the hardest to explain. We love a mystery any time, but at the end of October, the magic surprises are the most sought after. The babies are spooky, yet endearing as well. Happy Hallow'een!
Wow, such a cool opening picture and the baby's glowing eyes to boot! The poem is superb for this Halloween theme.
Hope You and Scratchy are doing fine this Halloween weekend.
oh my, am feeling quite terrified NOW!
Now those are spooky ShadowShots. Gave me the willies!! Well done!
That first shot is very Salvador Dali! The reality and unreality blur together! Strong shadow enhances that creepy effect! But the doll is ultra Spooksville! A fantastic post!
Our Halloween is dawning (and intends to continue being) wet and cold and windy! This is a continuation of yesterday when Derby Day - the last big hurrah before the Melbourne Cup - was drowning in wild weather! I'm not really a follower of horse races at all, but I was amused how the elegant ones dealt with Nature's fling! Some resorted to gum boots at the races! They need to practice wearing this attire with style because Melbourne Cup on Tuesday (public holiday in Melbourne only!) is supposed to be more of the same!
For me, it is that time of year again for school reports! I am using this long weekend to make a start before the last minute panic sets in! At least the weather is not really inviting to wander with the camera!
Enjoy your week ahead! SUPER HUGS dear sister!
Excellently spooky and terribly fun!
Happy All Hallow's Eve to you, Ms. Repose.
Ciao,

My SSS Post
So spooky, that baby doll's head..I wondered what you were going to do this week for Shadow Shot.
Well done!
These are great! Spooky, creepy, and a little disturbing...perfect for Halloween.
What a great post for Hallowe'en! The eyes got me! Love your poem!
Sharon, you're sick, but in a wonderful way. We love our Sharon.
Aaaahhhhhh! That baby head is seriously creepy! But very cool! I think it would give me nightmares if I had it in my home all lit up like that! Awesome poem! Enjoy your halloween celebrations Sharon. I'm now off to have a calming cup of tea after the fright that baby head gave me! :D
eeeeek, I'm happy we're not celebrating Halloween!
Headless babies would be too much for me! :)
No thanks, don't need any more baby heads. I didn't do SSS this week, too busy, but thought I'd check in on my buddies as see what they were up to. I like the shadows in that first photo for sure!
Happy Halloween.
Peace
Spooky - the baby's eyes gave me shivers!!
