Bluebird of mystery...

I am trying to come up with a collage of sorts, combining art and nature...so far I have the art and the old drawers to showcase, we'll see what transpires from here. I never liked doing collage in art class, to me it didn't depict real life, just suggestions here and there, so I struggled with it. Being old school, studying DaVinci drawings and never having to come out of my box creating more than just drawings and paintings, this could be a fresh venue for this ol' gal.

Hello.. thanks for stopping by my blog. I know what you mean about keeping up with women as we age. To me it is quite a different world out here now and I sometimes wonder where I fit anymore. I am becoming more and more of a homebody. I love the blog world and what a wonderful way to express your feelings and creations and meet so many nice people.. I have had nothing but nice comments and probably will be crushed if I do get a not so nice comment. We are finally having a nice sunny day with a touch of warmth and it is wonderful... I just put on my swim suit and shorts and hope to get about a half hour in the sun this afternoon...The pool is still out... CccHHHHIIILLLYYY..... I will check out your blog. Keep in touch once in awhile... Have a great weekend.

Sharon, you are such an artist, I know what you come up with will be wonderful. When you're artistic in one area it usually flows into all the other areas too! I love to make my assemblages in old drawers ~ some are in my archives on my blog...but I'm just not sure where! Be sure and show us when you're finished! xxoo, Dawn

I like the idea...think the design could be improved...possibly old, chunky table legs rather than the tree branches

Stop, I want those drawers.....love them. How much???? and yes I can sew the arm back on but, don't you think it will ruin the mystery of her? And yes I can transform into superwoman and save the world, but, I think I'll just have a gin and tonic. Cheers, Lauri
