Shadow Shot ...Shameless...

Yes, a shameless plug for my product...
as I try to coax a shadow on a dreary winter's day,
but you know, outside the window birds were singing
and not just any birds, these were birds returned...
birds of the summer come back to settle in
a season again...
the one we are waiting for,
SPRING!!!

And since I'm such a proponent of recycling,
my candle tins are recycled coffee containers, sweet huh...
and my candle jars are made by Ball, an American company!
Made in America, how novel!!!

My little room at Sisters' Garden is slowly becoming filled
with candles and soaps and Kelly Aaron Mosaics...
it's becoming quite the room to visit, as most say they are
following their noses to the scents that linger up the stairs...

fun, fun, fun...

a little sampler says it all,
as candle tarts are trying to squeeze in some sunlight
and shadows.

Mmmmm...cheesecake scented candles in wine goblets...
and mosaics.

A room with a view...
as I try to find shadow anywhere I can, well maybe not in Iowa ,
however...
you can travel down under to Harriet's joint, bet she's got some doozies!
Hope you enjoyed the tour of my space
at Sisters' Garden...in Iowa!!!
Shameless...

A double wick candle adds twice the the warmth to any scene. We are a fan, as any meal in the winter has such a graceful ambience when accompanied by such a candle. No shame in plugging this beauty!

i love all the white!! white is going to show shadows better than black...right?? short lived sun here today. we are at least at 21 degrees today vs. the single digits of the past week. i too am hearing more birds outside...while they are not the robin's or red winged black birds yet...the little beings are singing. always warms my heart!! love those simple things that make me happy!!

I love seeing all the neat stuff -- particularly the candles with the double wick -- that you have in your store! I would love to spend a morning or afternoon just browsing there! And what great shadow shots, too! Hope you have a great week, Sharon, with some sunshine!

Your space in the shop is wonderfully soothing and beautiful to look upon! The smart people over at Apple need to develop a scratch and sniff monitor so that I can have the full effect of your shadow post. I just know that I'm missing out!

Shameless perhaps...but lovely all the same. I'd almost swear I smell fresh linens...

Very nice Sharon. You make many fine gifts. Too bad that sun isn't putting his head out on the day you needed shadow shots. I heard tell it's suppose to warm up and be sunny, yes, even in Iowa.
I met a blogger friend who Winters in El Paso yesterday. Her and her husband are from Dubuque, but live in Davenport now. The Iowa connection you know.
I have some ideas for places you could attempt to sell to. I'll e-mail.
In the meantime, take care and be well.

peace

O you are so clever! What a heavenly collection of white! And adore your candles in wine goblets and coffee tins! A novel idea!

And you are the first to comment on my blog today! You are either awake very late or very early to achieve that! A great surprise when I opened my post blog this morning!

School is humming along! I am trying very hard to pace myself! Trying to leave some energy each day to do my writing or photography! So far, it's almost working! Even on Friday when it was swimming carnival day, I returned to school and worked for awhile to avoid bringing home work at the weekend!

Still very grey cool worlds here! Summer days could be numbered on one hand! (Warm jacket on even now!) But thankfully we have not had an invasion of blow flies this year! That is definitely good news! Didn't stop the mozzies though! If we sit on the verandah at night, my hubby gets eaten alive by mozzies! For some reason my blood is not so tasty!

Not sure if I commented on this before, but love the ambience of your blog! So magical and earthy and whimsical all rolled into one! Love it!

Super hugs dearest sister! Enjoy your travels this week!

It is hard to tickle shadows from white on white on a dull day. Nicely done.

such an inviting space. I am trying to imagine what the scent of linen might be. There is a clean, pure, feeling in each image. Very uplifting.
