Shadow Shot Sunday...I'm over it...

The beauty of bunny tracks
proves to me that
life survives even
in the harshest of realms,
and so will I!

Hey kids, it's SSS again and have us Northuners got some scary shadows for you!
But, It's only Winter and we will endure, cause Spring is just
around the corner, as we wish for it, it will be Autumn for our buds down under, so I guess we don't want to wish too fast, huh Tracy...
WHATEVER!!!

HEY HARRIET...we still want SPRING...sorry!!!

Time for Pollyanna's "glad" game? Might be challenging!!! (I've remembered that since the first time I saw it in childhood and still use it!)

I'll never complain again about the weather here in Georgia! Hope you have a beautiful day despite the white stuff so deep everywhere. Remember, that crazy groundhog predicted an early spring!!!

I've been meaning to tell you, in case you hadn't noticed on your Etsy shop page, all the way to the left at the bottom of the functions list, it says "Rearrange Your Shop". If you click on that, you can drag your pictures around and rearrange them however you like to mix things up.

Well, like everyone else, I'm longing for spring, some sunshine, some blue skies, but I have to admit that your snowy shadow shots are beautiful! Hope you have a great weekend, Sharon and do stay warm!!!

My favourite is the bike. Yes I want spring too, we have had rain and snow earlier in the week, then dreadful winds ....... but finally a snowdrop has put put a tiny shoot (I think they are sulking after spending weeks under several feet of snow!!

Beautiful shots, shadows or not! I'm in New Mexico, but we didn't miss the cold. Colder than ever recorded here. Warming up now. I didn't come to escape Winter. Well, maybe I did a litttle bit, but mostly, a spiritual journey.
I'll be home mid March in time for Spring.

Peace

oh these are some really nice shadows Sharon. I really like the bunny tracks. I saw your photos of the Robins and did a gasp. someone told me that many of them actually winter over in these parts but they hang out in the woods and we just don't see them. don't know if that's true, but I do love your photos! have a great weekend, and happy SSS!

The snow is stark and unyielding. The sun offers possibilities as each shadow is dainty, like the growth in the spring. The 'sunflower' suggests the season yet to be, full of green below our feet...

Looks like the bunnies made a beeline for shelter after getting their little feet cold! The lone metal sunflower ShadowShot in the first pic is very nice. So you're ready for Spring? I am too...but not here in Phoenix...I still like all the seasons in their proper order!

Great set of shots...some consolation for all the snow, I guess. I love how the shadow of the bicycle seems to complete the tire.

For those of us who don't know snow, these photos are always fascinating! For me, the blueish light is magical! Beautiful photos!

I am living a crazy life at the moment! School has more demands than ever! I am teaching senior English and History this year plus junior English, History and Economics! I haven't had quite such a demanding mix before! I'm trying to get organised but it's a tough call! Nothing like a challenge!

Meanwhile, my blogging has slipped way down! It is now a supreme luxury! I rely heavily on scheduled posts (set up over the weekend for the week ahead) so I can do school stuff during the week! It just works so far!

Our weather is rainy cool rain mostly, so at least I am deterred from my delicious wandering moments with te camera! Nearly all my photos lately are either archived ones or ones taken from home!

Already some trees are parading Autumn leaves! I can't believe it! Summer was almost a non event here!

But Nature loves to threow a few curl balls! Perhaps we'll have an Indian summer in March? Who knows!

Hope your weekend is a fun, creative one inspite of the snow! You still sound chirpy, so all your plans and dreams must be sailing along nicely!

Enjoy your week dearest friend! Super hugs!

For sure the shadows look great on snow! As long as the sun comes out once in a while I can endure the snow and cold. :)

Horrors! at first I thought you were over ShShSu, but no, Winter is the culprit. Love the shadow of the flower, and the bunny paw prints are delightful. Stay warm, stay cheerful!

The snow is great for sharpness and perfect contrast. Gotta love those bunny tracks and your wall paper.

Sharon girl I love your shadows !
Bunny tracks are my favorite too : )
We used to have a lot of bunnies visit the garden .. but with so many "wild" potential housing lots being built on now .. I think the bunnies are leaving for a quieter residence ?
I would laugh at all the "bunny beans" they left for me to clean up in Spring ;-)
That metal bed frame smack in the middle of the snow is GREAT !
Talk about sleeping under the stars?? LOL
Joy : )

Ewwwwwww, after growing up and raising a family in Colorado, I'm sure glad I don't have to 'put up' with all that white stuff again.

Great photos of your shadows this week.

And, thanks for visiting...
