A Star to Follow...Shadow Shot Sunday...

A star you say,
as my wand'rings near and afar
bring images of faith
to a trav'lers heart...
a faith in a Universe
and mankind's goodwill,
to share in a vision
of hope and good cheer.
A simple wish,
but a deep sense of sight,
in an act that of seeing,
is it PEACE that we might...
We all have a dream,
tis that time of year,
but let's make it wondrous...
with truth and forgiveness,
of love and not fear.
It's that SSS time, check out Hey,Harriet and see what kind of fun Tracy has for the shadow-shooters in all of us. Join the group, you'll be hooked, I promise.

Wonderful shot in monochrome! The shape of the shadow is incredible! Lovely geometric lean!

And yes! My SSS was my last verandah shot. I have scheduled posts for this week lined up because I am not expecting to be connected to the internet for several days.

I should not even be here but really should be doing final organisation! Hmmmmmmm Just had enough of it all! Probably panic tonight!

BIG HUGS! Missing you already!

I do love the star made by your tumble-down barn and its shadow.

I really like the effects in this shot. And how amazing that the building and shadow suggest a star!

Wow Sharon, that's one incredible star shadow you shot there!! I was wondering what type of star you shot when I read my bloglist but this was the last thing on my mind. Absolutely creative. We are going to the highlands next week for some brrrr..imagine that, its so hot in the morning and I am yearning for some cold weather.

With a shot like this, I think you are the star. You see beauty in objects that others would simply pass by.

Doh! I always seem to arrive here just after Hot Fudge and she usually says exactly what I'm thinking. She no doubt says it better than me anyways ;) I also think you are a star for this shot! It's brilliant!

...and the Shadow Shooting star award goes to...Sweet Repose!!!

Have a wonderful Sunday :)

Oh, I like your eye for a photo. This shadow is great and your winter collection was also wonderful. I want to visit the antique store you post pictures of! Maybe someday on my way through Iowa--

Hope the little barn holds up for a while longer!
A charming image with fine words to match.

The shadow cast by the barn reminds me of a big top circus! I have play time on the brain.

Oh, wow! I really love this shadow shot -- a star! So unique and very appropriate for the season. I'm going to have to look for some "star" shadow shots. Thanks for the inspiration, Sharon, and the wonderful words you always provide with the photos.

Wouldn't you love to hear the tales that old barn could tell. It's seen a lot of history.

Beautiful shot, and I love that it's a star! Shadows which are deeper than the pictures themselves are so much fun!
