A Winter's Composition

And we all know how much I love winter...well, I couldn't help but take the ol' Canon out whilst I shoveled our 2 inches of snow from the drive...sorry Northerners, it's all we got...but what beautiful morning shadows it's brilliant, white beauty cast on my crisp Iowa morning, don't you agree...but, I think I'll bask indoors and enjoy it's beauty in front of the warm dry air of my registers and sip the brisk, black coffee offered at the Inn of the Pink Chateau...cheers...
Crisp frozen shadow,
marking a season's entry
to cold Arctic nights.

Would you believe we got snow here last night? Yep, a whole 100th of an inch. Hmm, nothing prettier than Texas snow with dirt, sticks and leaves in it. It's really cold(for us anyway) so I think I'll join you for that cup of java. Tn'T

Magical! We don't get much snow so I really love those pictures..especially third and fourth from the top. I LOVE SNOW! (probably because it's a novelty)

It is so pretty. Love the Buddha pic!

I'm drinking coffee by the fire...contemplating the 6 degree temperature we're expecting this weekend. Brrrrr!

I love the photo with the tracks in the snow..they are all lovely as usual. Hey, we got a little bit of the white stuff FINALLY here as well, but we're still behind in the number of inches. Makes me think of some cold, deep February mornings, digging the car out...Brrr.
