I'm livin' the life
I'm feelin' the sun
it's November
you know and
I take it all in
in a dream
under a tree
...free...
I live in the breeze
on a November morn
under the clothesline
n'er forlorn
I spend my day
in the shade of a tree
...lazy...
but to dream
my dream
and while the time
in the breeze
in the shade
of a lazy morn
nothing more... s.wilson

Breezy breezy day...I like those clothings being air dried...so homey.
You still have the wonderful sunshine over your place? Isn't it great?
Loving the clothes line. Feels so breezy and summery. I missed that season.
A wonderful day to you dear Lady.
xoxo
I always like the look of clothes on a line...
it's your banner that is stealing the show today...love the dirt of the field.
there is just something about a clothesline...peaceful...you can just let your thoughts float in the breeze as the clothes do.
coffee is on...sounds like you might need some!!!
Hooray! Blogger let you publish! I empathize with you.
And you published some great shadows too!
It is breezy! What great shadow shots and lovely words as always! It's been breezy here, too, and cold, and wet!!
Strange I had trouble posting mine, too, for some reason, but finally managed!
Have a great day!

Hey Sharon! Loving the clothes lines and your words. My husband always says he never wants to live in a neighborhood where you can't have a clothes line...we haven't owned a dryer in 20 years! 'Course, I can't fit one in the shed anyway!! :o} happy Saturday *elaine*
Hanging wet clothes is work. Yet here, it seems like a work of art with nice shadows painted on the ground. I notice that the dog doesn't seem to be working alongside the artist...
nice atmosphere of summer and home in these shots...
Looking at clothes on the line is relaxing. And your pooch certainly is relaxed.
I'm glad your computer worked for you, you published your post successfully and that you didn't explode.
:-)
Glad it worked for you. Love to see washing on the line and it always smells so good.
I wish I could dry my cloths in the breeze. The HOA says "no way" I must dry them on a rack in the house or in the garage.
Oh, well done on getting the better of the computer gremlins. I was having a few internet issues last night, so you have my full sympathy.
And I can almost smell those fresh clothes flapping in the breeze from here. Have a great week.
Great shadows! Your dog weems to be enjoying the day! Clothes on a line - fresh and clean!
Love your poem as well.
Sunshine? In November? And it's dry enough to hang clothes on the line? I'm jealous!
Beautiful pictures and poem.
Have a great weekend!
I loved this post and the breezy ,lazy shadowy day there!
I understand..come close to implosion many times with the blame C!!!

You have been successful posting your beautiful SSS photos. I'm glad. that first shot looks like you set it up, it's so perfect! Happy SSS! Have a good weekend! :)
Oh deary! So sorry about your computer problems!!! I have that sort of trouble sometimes too - so frustrating!! It was well worth the time and effort though - these shots are great! I love the wintery sky and the compositions - have a lovely Sunday!
Whew! I'm relieved that you didn't explode. Oh to live a dog's life taking in the sun and the breezes. Not a worry in the world except for where did I bury that bone?
I always enjoy photos of washing on the line. The other week I was taking some photos of my own washing on the line until the neighbour started looking at me oddly, so I scrambled back inside the house feeling like a bit of a dork... Loved your poem as always too! Glad to see the post published ok. Computers can be such a pain in the butt when things are not working as they should be! Happy weekend Sharon :)
Gosh, I've been there with that computer woe! But, since Jan. I've been on a Mac and nary a problem since...
I love you laundry on the line image! I'm a sucker for stuff like that. And the prose as always is stellar.
I think you should put all of these SSS entries with prose and images into a self published book via www.blurb.com or some similar service.
Computer problems are really stressful!! I know this house, I've seen it on my bike rides thru fry town area. I have been hanging clothes out on the line for about a year now. NO DRYER. That's a long story.
Laundry on clothesline,
soaking up autumn sunshine—
ah, smell the freshness!
My Shadow Shot
computers... can't live with them, and now we can't live with without them -- *smile*
glad you got yours working and were able to post the photos
Thanks for your comment. It was one of the sunny days this week. Today is raining and what can we do! Weather is what weathwr is! I like your picture and the shadows from the clothes. I wish you a nice week!
Love the new photo on your header - perfect for the coming winter.
I love this shot, it reminds of my grandmother and wash day. We would slap the sheets with our hands as we ran under them. My grandmother had a lot of patients.
A lovely day and nice shadows...
Lovely photos! Qe have had heavy rain for days on end - my washing is in th tumble drier!!
Beautiful photos at the end, it was worth the four hours.
The second photo is my favorite.
Thank for your visit.
I really like the clothesline, especially the dog sleeping. Very well-framed shot.
Lovely poem-oh to have the life of a dog! I also love your new wintery header and the picture of those two gorgeous dogs in the post below!
Glad you didn't have to explode!
Beautiful shadows from the laundry in the breeze, and what a gorgeous house and grounds.
my problem isn't always the computer but rather the person in front of it working the keys....that dorky woman who really doesn't belong in this century...the non tech person. one of my alltime loves is hanging clothes on the line and watching them dry in the wind. great blog today. but then yours always are.
in fondest. Tilda
Wonderful Post.
Life is good -- except when we have problems with these darn computers. We had one of those days today when you could set out in the sun & enjoy the breeze. Jan
Glad you were finally able to post. I love both photos, especially the first one with the dog. ;-)

A full clothes line and a sleeping dog. No doubt he's tired from helping with the laundry, gathering up the stray socks, for example. Not to mention the towels.
Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting on my Barrel of Monkeys shadow shot!
Hope your computer issues are a thing of the past. Great top shot! I love the laundry dancing and the dog snoozing.
A clothes line, a sleeping dog, how much better can life be?
It looks like your computer issues were solved ... lovely shadow post!
