Shadow Shot Sunday...Dances With Dogs...

I walk the path 'round my self
following each one of me
to the temple behind
the old flowing lace
I have many faces
seeking many dreams

I long to dance with wild dogs
dust drifting from paws
coursing the winds of my fables
gather me into your legend
whisper into my ear
that I am free

sing songs to a breeze
o'er ancient plains
where great storms
carve channels into
the whirlpools and canyons
of my soul
creating me

a feather falls
it brushes my cheek
opening my eye
sister lark calls
step out of the currant and drift to a cloud
into the brilliant blue eye
of the now
and be comforted
that you may soar with the gull
and he will say
she danced with wild dogs

My lil' semi-wild companion catches some rays before the shadows of the rainclouds envelope us this Shadow Shot Sunday...we won't see the sun for days as this system moves East, however we need the rain for the gardens...I was having to water new seedlings, this rain should make them POP!!!

Check out the others, as we take you on adventures all over the world in search of the illusive shadows...and I continue to find more of me in the vast expanse of my soul...
For me, it's the music, it sets my sails...
so don't forget to turn up your sound to expand your own inner journey...

that you know your inner path-is a wonderous thing, that you share with your beautiful words does a heart good to soar with you. because my path follows closely to the lines of yours...as the feather falls softly to the music.

coffee is on.

Your doggie looks so pretty with the green grass.

Have a wonderful Sat & Sun.

So much x0x0, always from your never ending crazy lil lad.

What a pretty shot of the lace in shadow among the tattered threads we see.
Enjoy your approaching rains.

"she danced with wild dogs..." so haunting and beautiful! This poem is mesmerising, inspiring music! I have read it several times, soaking in its beautiful spirit. And the shadow on hessian? has a kind of magical blend of the raw with the beauty of falling light! Utterly beautiful!

Getting more chilly days here with spatterings of rain from grey skies. But the beauty of light when the greys open for a little light is magical! My camera has been working overtime when these moments happen!

Had parent teacher interviews till late last Thursday and another one on Tuesday, so I feel that I am living at school. But at least all my mountains of marking are low - for now!

Great that you found my addiction! Smiled when I saw that you were the first to comment. Ahhh but it's all in the name of keeping some measure of sanity when the crazy stuff looms!

Enjoy your weekend dearest sister! BIGGEST HUGS! And wishing you the smiles of a good fortune cookie in your new travels! Oh! And a pat and hug for Scratchy!

Beautiful shadow shot post! And how exciting about the mall endeavor!! I think it's such a great idea, and leave it to you two to brave redefining a new marketplace from the wreckage of a crumbled economy!! Good on ya, mates!

It's been quite some time since I've visited but I've enjoyed catching up in my reader this morning. Thanks for making the whole post available in your feeds. Glad spring has finally arrived and that Scratchy seems to be recovered from his knee surgery (I could relate to the aloneness you felt in his absence) ... loved your poetry accompanying wonderful photos along the way and enjoyed your reveries along with the 'collections' as well ...
"THERSAWILL THERSAWAY" is a MARVELOUS name ;-)
Hugs and blessings,

interesting shadows created by the torn fabric and your companion has a puzzled look as he soaks up some rays.
My garden is enjoying the abundance of spring rain followed by warm days. I hope yours springs to life as well. It is a great joy to see the garden bloom.
