Shadow Shot Sunday...Her Blue Moon...

rusty old relic
pushed from the hand
to the heart
duos of life
dawn to dusk
Winter to Spring
they sing in harmony
an adagio to the sweet pea
a pastoral to the rain
in a symphony of
dancing droplets
I see a reflection
in these pools of solitude
the songs of stormy nights
and the silent wings
of the day light
bits of earth
and promise
in my secret storm
a rusty old bucket
worthy still
rambles on
life and singularity
once in a blue moon

I just love that term, it has such a mystic voice to it...once in a blue moon...conjures up all kinds of mystic moods, huh...
Anyway, our waiting is over here in the Midwest, the blossoms are budding, gardens are being groomed, grass is about to be mowed and tornado season is upon's always something isn't it, nobody said it would be easy, so let's just enjoy it why we have it...6 long, glorious months of warm weather...oh what shall we do...

Well for one, we can head on down under to Australia where hopefully Tracie is back online and able to join us in HER MEME...we miss you girl!!!

What a wonderful sign to the world of antiquity for sale! The Spring has arrived in the East too, so using a wheelbarrow for relocating mulch is the thing to do now (although we will hire a professional instead :>)

Rusty old relic - I can relate to that!

I'm so pleased that you are finally getting some of that spring fever over there. The weather here is stil gloriously warm, with just a hint of coolness in the evenings. Have a wonderful Easter.

Exotic music in your poem! Somehow it sings a song of remembrance for all those trusty garden tools that rarely get much romantic recognition! Just beautiful!

Our Autumn winds are blowing with a bite today! But still the sun struggles on! Good old sun! We are rarely without him for long! I managed to get some dramatic sky shots this morning from this drama of wind and light!

Half way through the Easter holidays. I have done school work programmes almost every day, + added more goodies for the students on my Teen Waves blog but I still allow some wandering time to escape for awhiles!

Found an awesome sight at Sorrento! A helicopter landing on a rock in Westernport Bay! (I have just posted it on my blog!) I tried not to shake the camera, but it was quite exciting! And all over in minutes!

Happiest Easter HUGS to you dearest friend!

Now to check out what else you have been doing on your blog!

Nice strong shadow there, Sweet Repose! My wheel barrow will be getting some use soon as I begin gathering the remaining leaves from fall and the other debris about the yard. It's that time of year again!

I like the shadow shot. Funny, I'm using the wheelbarrow today! Mixing just a little cement for a project.
I like the phrase, "Once in a Blue Moon" as well. A Blue Moon occurring in nature is quite an event in my own life.

wheelbarrows fascinate me for some reason. maybe because, as you say in your poem, they ramble on dutifully.

Spring is here too. I hear lots of birds singing every morning now.
