Shadow Shot Sunday...The Devil's Collar...

What strange shadows lurk
mysteriously shining
through this window's eye

Well, it's just Scratchy's Halloween collar,
you know,
the one that makes her look cool...

and tough too, right...

most of the time, 'cept
when I'm relaxing from work
fear me not pilgrim
with a mug like this, what's not to love...

no profound words of feelings and life this Shadow Shot Sunday...
only the love of a dog and her pack leader...
unconditional in every sense of the word,
my constant companion
the source of my smiles
and the terrorist of the hood
(yeah right)
Scratchy...the mouse whisperer...
my hero, my wolf, my best'es bud!

Cool shadow shot...and I love the hamper...what a deal!
The Asylum shop looks packed with my kind of stuff--good thing I live far!
I miss my Lab who has been gone a few years now--she made it to 18 yrs though, and was the sweetest-natured dog ever--she endured our two cats with endless patience.

super shot - so eerie and suggestive ...

The coat tree has a look of a four-point buck at least in its shadow...

Scratchy doesn't seem the type to require a spiked collar - he seems unlike a junkyard canine and reall pleasant instead...

We all need to look tough at times - maybe a spiky collar would work for me .......

The devil's collar indeed! Your shadow could go so well with my fantasy one this week I feel!

My last hours of semi-freedom are unravelling - back to school tomorrow! So I won't be able to visit quite so often again for awhile except on special SS Sunday!
(Methinks I did a little too much schoolwork + blogging over the hols because I look around and see so many other things that should have been done too! Like housework! Aaah!)

It's a REAL Autumn day today - the biting winds, the bleak sunlight, the birds transformed into kamikaze pilots and those big collared warm jackets are getting an airing! But the atmosphere is pretty and almost mystical with mist rising from the sea! Wind-blown and teeth chattering, I've already managed a few photos from my verandah this morning!

O dear sister it's good having you around! I love seeing a totally different world through your eyes! It so helps to keep the worry demons away and give the mind some peace!

SUPER HUGS dearest sister! Enjoy your Spring weekend!

What a cute little devil to wear such a scary collar! My first guess wasn't a dog collar. Good Shadow Shot.

Scratchy is such a cutie. And I don't know which I like better, the shadow shot or the one of the coat rack. Nice set of photos!
