Shadow Shot Sunday...Bro...

Oh look, a loon...
my lil' brother,
little did he know
that our summer's day outing
would be shadow chasing...

and picture taking

and barn searching...

and memory making...

you can't trust him with the camera...

go ahead jump lil' brother
it'll be OK...heh heh!!!!!!!!
I won't tell Mom...
heh heh!!!

we traveled the back roads
and explored the forgotten...

and pondered Nature and life...

my lil' brother and me...
love you bro!!!

MOMMMMMMMMMM!!!

Hey Harriet...she's got us addicted...

You both sound like a crazy pair! What fun together! And love all your wanderings finding shadows and secrets and peeling beauty!

I am visiting early hoping that the promised sun for tomorrow really eventuates! I want out with my camera! There was an entree today for a little while, but tomorrow should be the main course! I can't believe how much I am longing for some time in the sun!

But it is very good to know that for the first time in years we actually have a reasonable storage of water before the summer season! That must be great news! I'm sure we'll be more grateful when the heat kicks in!

Great to see you are spending a little leisure time with your brother away from work!

Lots and lots of hugs from the almost land of Spring! Yeah!

Old buildings and collapsing barns remind us of the past, as they leave shadows, too...siblings on a shadow hunt, a lovely avocation!

Sounds like a great day! Funny how we can still tell tales despite being very grown up! Love the ramshackle barn and your other forgotten finds.

that old building #1 absolutely captured my heart. The old almost readable sign, ah. Old buildings and cemetery stones. What gets better than that?
Yup. dirty feet again. But that is the norm for me.
Auctioned all day. I have OLD doll bodies and heads with no bodies, thought of you when my hand was in the air bidding...

Haha! This post makes me smile! What a pair of mischief makers you are! I bet you were a wild pair of kids! Those old barns are so cool. I don't see anything like that in my neck of the woods. Happy to hear of your fun time with your little brother. Have a great week ahead Sharon :)

What fun ShadowShots!! I wish I had such a good relationship with my brother. Only a wish.

Your words made me lol. The line,"jump bro I won't tell mother" totally gave me a flashback. My sister used to say things like that, then she'd be a stool pigeon. Ahhh those were the days my friend.
