Shadow Shot Sunday...Gypsy Nights...

A summer drifts by on warm charged air
swings sit silent as storms gather round
rumbling by like caravans on the wide screen
black-caped gypsies volley boulders across the sky
the premier begins
peace is not in this script
not yet
till the calm after the storm
seals this kiss

What is it with these storms that follow me home from Sister's Garden...
GEESH!!!

Tempests...

Hey, it's Shadow Shot time, it's Friday evening, 11ish and I'm enjoying my favorite time of day, listening to soft music, writing down thoughts, as a thunderstorm again rumbles outside my
quiet rooms, silent night disturbed, yet not...
if you listen and see the sad faces in the clouds...

I think I can hear someone running around shouting "Dorothy! Dorothy!"

Great shadow shot, and amazing skies. (Here in SF we've just got the same old uniform grey...it's summer, after all...)

The shadow of the chain is massive and foreboding, a source of strength. Speaking of strength, those Hawkeye skied are full f foreboding and massive clouds, the power of the heavens never to trifle with. Keep safe!

Amazing ShadowShots. I hope you haven't been hit by the bad weather & floods I've heard have hit Iowa. (Love Tom's comment~hehe)

Wow, those clouds are impressive. They remind me of the storms we'd have in Japan.

And I like the warmth of the wood and sunlight in your first shot.

Hopefully, the clouds didn't follow you home the next day:)

wishing you a warm and sunny Sunday.

Couldn't get to you through Mr Linky - he said you didn't exist!! The storm photos are amazing - but scary. We don't have such 'big' weather ..... it has just been grey, wet and miserable!

Gorgeous shadow designs! Fascinating! And those storm clouds are quite intimidating! I'm sure you won't be surprised that we empathise! Yes! It is raining today AGAIN! But it's fun trying to get photos from the almost impossible! I managed one photo of a group of people scurrying across the road with a huge umbrella! The umbrella was on its side to combat the wind! As a result, the photo seems to capture an umbrella with legs! I love it!

Quite excited at the moment, because a newspaper friend has created a column for older teenagers, giving them an opportunity to voice their opinion on a Monday! He has asked me to encourage my boys to submit! One boy in particular has quite a vision, and I would love to see his thoughts in print. Great opportunity!

Take care driving in your wild weather! Always thinking of you and imagining what you may be doing! You are such a creative soul! When I somehow get bag loads of money, I want to get over there and meet you! That's the dream!

HUGS from over the sea!

P.S. Your link on SSS says your blog does not exist! Not sure why!

A new twist on Storm Chaser, where the storm chases you! Glad you just went home on Friday instead of coming out to the Shed. I got home just in time too!!! Good to chat with you via Piper's phone line. So your peanut turned 42. We ate cake and laughed that afternoon, something my sad soul really needed! Haven't gotten over the June lineup of saddness and just needed a Piper fix. It worked wonders ♥ Thanks for the giggles that afternoon ♥

Those clouds look very nasty! Storms freak me out! You've captured some great photos of them though! Sorry to hear of your computer troubles. I've been having a few of those lately too! Must be going around...

Hope you have a wonderful week ahead Sharon :)
