Shadow Shot Sunday...Human...

What's in your heart
deep dark despair
forlorn loneliness
un-forgiveness
harsh reality
longing
grief
silence

or is it life and light
brilliance of hope
shining clarity
compassion
glowing respect
kindness
charity
ideals
faith
humanitarianism...

the meaning of...one who bases religion on consideration
of mankind rather than on faith in supernatural revelation.

This vase is called 'goofus glass', I love it for it's simple qualities.
It's a cheap version of 'carnival glass',
Vases given away for prizes at fairs, carnivals etc.
I have collected many over the years, all are unique
and have personalities of their own...
sorta like us humanz...
Though all not of high quality
there's a personality still.
Wouldn't it be grand
if that was the
way of it!

Check out the rest of us bein's...
we're all over at Harriet's place
shootin' shadows...
see ya!

Love that first shot--so moody. And the vase is quite lovely.

Love your shadow shots and your words and how true they are! I, too, am amazed at the difference between the dark and the light, they are definitely two completely different interpretations! Enjoy your weekend!

cool effects with your photography. And your words really make one think.

I gotta say I like the name "goofus glass." I may have won one glass item at the fair, but can't say what happened to it.

I am loving that first shadowy shot. The vase may be inexpensive but it has a story behind it.

Your words are indeed thought provoking.

Happy shadow seeking this week!

I love the vase, and the words to go with the pics are great.

Hope that things are going well over at your part of the world .

I have heard of goofus glass but didn't know what it was! Love the shadowy darkness and the contrast flooded with light! Very beautiful!

We have some wonderful sunlight today! It's almost like a foreign object, but a welcome one! I am out there right after this comment! And going by the sounds of traffic, so are many others!

I even managed to get some first spring flower shots in my garden this morning! I was ecstatic!

Hoping your venture is still travelling smoothly! I guess you are hoping to beat the Autumn/Fall winds!

Super Aussie hugs for the week ahead!

You are so good at the shadow shot thing. I guess you have been to both places to speak of them so well.

Sweet Repose : ) I love your vase and I have always been fascinated with Carnival glass .. I have none but I still appreciate all unusual pieces of any origins ! My plant with the black pods is Blue False Indigo .. and it is so attractive through out all of its stages from Spring till Autumn .. a great garden plant to have !
Joy : )
PS .. all of my plants have personality ! LOL
