Shadow Shot Sunday...Vignette...

Life is a series of settings
vignettes in the parlor of being
arrangements in fashion of notion
the style of time
the afflictions of an era
the addictions of a creature
mad about style
or maybe just mad...

I can't make it stop
it thrills me to the bone
it oozes through my every pore
it wakes me in the slumber
it shines in my eye
and fills my very aura
with light

Shadow Shot Sunday...
another addiction to be filled!

The old furnishings and accessories are beautiful and leave shadows as intricate as themselves. Classic si the look, the style to last generations...

So much shadow and just a tiny fall of light! Dramatic and mysterious! Beautiful!

I won't go on about our rain except to say that we've had more wild, ongoing rain! Sighhhhhh

Busy last weeks of term ahead! Handbooks for next year need updating, marking of exams etc. I feel I am spinning in a whirlpool at the moment with nothing being done well!

But it is Spring! Warmth should heal stress and worries!

I have so enjoyed your posts about the progress of your dream! So inspiring!

HUGS from Australia! Enjoy your week dear sister!

Love the pics. Thanks for letting me visit with you and Cathie yesterday. The laughing was good for my soul. What a hoot you two are. Thank goodness there wasn't liquor involved, jeez!!!

Nice. The pine cupboard makes a pretty backdrop for shadows. Is it a dry sink? ANd who is that little camel on top? A toy or momento from a trip abroad?

So much light amidst so much darkness. Great contrasts.
I always wonder how you have so much time to write and take pictures when it seems like you're always buyting more junk. (I use the word junk very affectionately, like you would)

Peace.

I am a wood lover and that shadow shot is beautiful : ) .. I love the statement on arriving to be an old woman with no regrets .. I wonder if such a creature exists ? ;-)

I wish I could wink my nose and be there at your place to see all the antique goodies you have! And to sit and have tea and chat.
You have such a cool life. And are amazingly talented. Love the shots!
