I'm pooped...but worth it...!

Phase one...
isn't it just the cutest...EVER!!!
Was out at the crack of dawn painting,
the wind really made it dry fast,
so 3 coats of primer...and FINIS!!!

Then the lil' corbels were next...
I've been rolling this old roll of vintage wire around
for about 3 years now, knowing what I was going
to use it for, but when, that was the question!!!
Strange, I thought it was 4 ft. high,
but three will do, 'cause 4' landscape timbers
were only 99 cents each...SWEET!!!
I only have a couple of staples in just to hold
the fence in place, but the wire has to be bent here
and there...but these ol' bones have had enough!
However, tomorrow is another day for
the wild thing...
Can ya dig it!!!

absolutely LOVE it. these chicks had no idea what a grand chapeau they would live in. however, i am cringing at painting that magnificent BLACK door white.
while you were painting in your no-snow-on-the-ground-Iowa, we were getting a terrible snow storm with about zero visibility and it completely covered the ground again. AGAIN! Along with thunder and lighting and a heavy rain.
wearing the hunting socks again today.
in fond regard, Tilda
