Butterfly Parades and Sweet Scented Florals...

Lemon Verbena...bring in the fresh, sweet scents of Spring we are ready...we are hungry...

The iron butterflies are all rounded up for the Spring party...garden art is arriving at Sisters'...I am so tempted...then again, it doesn't take much for me, I'm easily amused...

This Heywood Wakefield patio set is darn near the one that Granny had in her lanai down in Daytona Beach...many a day was spent there lounging and watching lizards scale the screens and hide under the jalousie windows...ahhhh, the good ol' days.

Spring dances are performed by this sweet nymph...ahhh to be so carefree to dance with boughs of honeysuckle caressing your hair...mmmmm...

Iron gates await, locking away special gardens from wandering boots and picking fingers...just one, that's all I need...

Bluebirds and Robin's eggs and the rites of Spring...we are here and we are dreaming...breath it in...SPRING!!!

My sisters & myself are getting a real hankering to take a trip & are thinking we'll head to Iowa. Your pictures make us want to head to Sisters. Hopefully, we can make the trip soon. Happy Easter! Jan

First I love the header photo! That is just beautiful. Second, I am in love with that couch so much I want to marry it. Third, the lady in the picture reminds me of Magnolia Pearl. She could get away with wearing honeysuckle in her hair. I would just look crazy as a loon!

In my mind I can see that gate. Hollyhock growing on one side and a morning glory on the hinge post.

Weather is supposed to be sunny. I hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend.

Even the name of "Lemon Verbena" has a fresh, exhilerating sense. Those examples look delightful on that amazing chair!

And the lady dancing her life away is just so romantic! These cluttered times really need more of this escapism!
