The Fabric of Sweet Repose...

I love the texture of old...
old lace, old plaster, old paint...

Faded old fabrics layered upon layer...
wear spots complimenting each other in faded regalia
and deceased pomp...

Pictures of ancestors and thoughts forgotten in time...
brought back to life in a decorators theme.

Elegance crumbling, awaiting a next assignment into the present and certain future...

The sun arises again through my kitchen window, though shrouded in clouds,
it never fails to stimulate the knowing of what is past
and what is future...

Yes, this is...The Fabric of Sweet Repose...

You have the gift of seeing this theme everywhere. In all the pictures you post it is evident. Good stiuff.

Hope all is well with you. I have been away, then went away again. I'll be back to normal, (whatever that is) soon. Take care and be well.

Peace.

Hey Sharon...
I am with you... on all of it... What is it, about these wonderful, worn 'things', that comfort our soul, so?...
Take care... Sweetie...

Great photos. You work magic in every place you inhabit. Come live down at the building. We were thinking up names for it. Came up with "The sows ear".
