Shadow Shot Sunday...Weaner...

Tis good to be queen
a life filled with great pleasures
and constant humor

Right...
I try not to take anything too serious these days,
life is so complicated as it is
and if you can't have fun with it...
where are you anyway...

Iowa!

I wear the crown of Iowa, the Nu-way Weaner, as you see from my former post...
I love this thing, a new toy perhaps, yet a constant reminder that everything isn't always what it seems, you can make the best of anything!

It's Sunday in Australia and all of us dreamers and seekers are down at Harriet's place...
come on down...
we're crazy addicted!

Hahaha! Hear hear to being a bit un-serious from time to time - perhaps all the time (ideally!). Love the shadows that the letters cast - very elegant!

You are absolutely right - can't take things seriously! Too much whining and hand wringing over trivial and insignificant. Enjoy life, keep things in perspective, and enjoy the best of things. Queen Nut? Cool!

I love that row of metal alphabets! How I wish I could just time warp myself over to your store to look at all your treasures!
Love your 'mask' too!

Hail Queen of all weaners! Love how it says "nut" above you picture! I think we all have been taking things to seriously. We're off to find our own crowns;0)

Lovely shadow and a good lesson to learn, the slowing down.

That is such a cool crown I hope, though, that you won't be too offended if I tell you I think is a tad too big for your head.

Life is way better if you allow yourself to find humour in simple things!

I have now learnt what a weaner is and just how easily it becomes like a medieval crown or even a knight's helmet! (But women weren't knights were they? Maybe history just didn't choose to record the fact!)

And Sharon you look brilliant in your knightish crown! I can imagine that you are winking impishly behind all that metal!

And don't the curling bits of metal create awesome, stylish shadows!

Sorry to hear about the damage from your hurricane! That must have been quite a scary moment! And even the weather news hounds didn't pick it up? Very strange! Hmmm...Nature wins! Again! Don't mess with the real First Lady!

And me? Not sure where I am! Not much sleep this past week, trying to keep up! Some of it is self-inflicted I admit! For any long hours on schoolwork, I spend equal long hours on writing as a balance! May be a healthy mental balance but not good in the physical department! But that's me!

More super hugs your way dearest sister! Adore my bud across the pond!

That is such a fun shot, Queen of everything that is fun, that would be a great title.

I'd happily be a subject in your kingdom if I got a corner of those 6 acres.

Haha! Nice crown! I'm glad that you explained how the Nu-way weaner was used in your previous post. I would never have figured that one out in a gazillion years!

I'm all for being un-serious as much as I can :)

Hey Weaner...you KNOW it...I have always wanted to weld!!! Although Jane had a guy out back doing the welding for her....
I don't have the space, but maybe you will when you get your building done!!

It's so hard to slow down but I'm trying. This heat has kind of forced it on us. Hope you're not getting all that rain -- I'm looking at the map to see where Delhi, Iowa is. By the way, love your shadow shot. Jan
