Thufferin thucatash...

Another blue day of rain, rain, rain...isn't this the cutest lil' wind runner...Sylvester...
I just couldn't resist, he had to live at The Pink Chateau!

Perfect don't you think...

This is how close the highway(4-lane) is to my house...ARGH...
The sign on the right is the old Candle Shed sign, which I left up because I knew someday I would have another shop there...heehee...

Ominous clouds form over the horizon, harmless, but FULL of rain.
My lil' piece of paradise starts at this turn-off...full of scrub trees, cedar and elm, but perfect habitat for wildlife, the center is filled with prairie grasses and forbs the wildlife eat, such as partridge pea...my shack is in the middle of all the walnut trees in the middle of the shot, right under the tail of the storm.
It ain't much, but it's my much!

It never hurts to dream, as you can see from this darling cabin in the Catskills'...
My Shabby Streamside Studio
Check out Sandy's blog, girls, you are gonna swoon...I'm not that kinda shabby fufu kinda gal, but this is candy for the eye and gives me food for thought, as my own lil shack is being built.

Check out her blog...and watch the drool!

Love the little character you have settled by the fence! He looks like he's playing I spy for Tweetie! Gorgeous!
And we still have our rain too! Just 2 days of a break and back again! I have not seen so much regular rain since I was a young child! But the water catchments are happy! (At least on eastern Australia!)

I read somewhere that happiness is not getting what you want, it's wanting what you have.

Your pink chateau, with all of your projects in various stages of completion and your collections, each with a story attached, is my idea of a happy home.

I've checked out that blog & the adorable house and what a setting. What would I do with all this "stuff". Wish we had a little of your rain. It's been one of those summers where it pours on one block & dry as a bone on the next one. I'm having to water the "maters".

We have had much cooler weather than normal and today we were rockin and a rolling with a 5.7 earthquake...pictures tilted, chandeliers swung, but I sold a chest of drawers right in the middle of it! Didn't phase her one bit. LOL.....

There could not be a more perfect spot for him! And what a joy for others to see as they pass..

Wow - those storms look menacing! Take care, my friend ;-D
