Shadow Shot...Vague@sisters...

Vague shadows and pastels
are barely visible at Sisters' Garden,
as Springtime tries to take hold
and the sun flits in and out of barrier clouds,
we drink it all in...

Springtime, just around the corner in Iowa...
quite brisk outside today with GUSTY winds
howling through the trees and windchimes
singing...BRING IT ON!

So head on down to our weekly shadow hunt in Australia...
and pray for our brothers and sisters in Japan!

What an eclectic collection of sgadows - and goods for sale! If I could get my wheelchair into the store, I'd like to visit those baskets of china pieces. The oready-to-restore cabinets would rate a visit, yoo. Cool shots!

Are those blue bird plates in the wash bucket yours?? I kinda like them. I'm a real sucker for plates. How close are you to Chicago? I'm going to be there in June for a sisters wedding. Maybe I could convince the Husband to swing on over!

What a nice bunch of shadow shots. The sun isn't shining here in Wisconsin today, but temps have been above freezing during the day for a week or so. That's good for a slow melt and possibly less flooding.
Hope Spring reaches us all and also share your thoughts and prayers for the people devastated in Japan and other areas hit by the earthquake and its aftermath.

Peace

Love your vague shadows, especially the one with the lamp and the mirror! That is an exquisite photo!

I am early today! It is a long weekend here in Melbourne - Labour Day -and what do I do? Sleep in? No! I am all awake at 5:00am as per a school day! Maybe tomorrow I'll be different! Last chance then!

But I must admit that I am all excited abgout going to a kite festival at Rosebud just south of Dromana. I saw some of the kite flyers practising yesterday when I went supermarket shopping! Clear blue skies and gentle winds and awesome kites without the crowds! I didn't want to leave! (Hubby said I looked like a ferret on steroids racing down to the foreshore! I went mad with my camera!)

Today is cloudy so far and no breeze, so today's photos will be quite different! As Rosebud is on Port Phillip Bay (as is Dromana), I expect there will be some breeze near the sea! The kite festival is attracting kite flying professionals (I didn't even know that there was such a thing!) from all round Australia! Sounds awesome!

More excitement...My daughter's 4th baby is due in a few days! She tells me that is it! No more! Hmmmmm Would you believe her eldest boy is 16! Wow does that make me feel old!

Enjoy your almost Spring weekend dearest sister! Warmest Autumn hugs!

Your shadows are so gentle and soothing, a bit of a contrast to the wind you describe. I so want the soap to be Turkish Delight!

What lovely items. I love the barn swallow plates. Spring is trying to get here. The hairy critters are starting to shed and some of the feathered critters are thinking of sitting on eggs.

so many yummy treasures in your shots. spring is inching closer. it's 5:30pm and doesn't show signs of getting dark out anytime soon. gotta love the time change for that. didn't like it today when i had to be out of the house at 7:30 this morning...but hey, it's awesome now.

i'll even put up with the muddy, slushy roads if it means warmer temps and spring.

coffee is a little late today...but the pot is always on for you...hope to see ya soon.
