I Rest in Your Arms...

Great Mothering Oak
you protect me from sorrows,
from weath'ring and tears.
Your great size heightens your strength
as my tears read mine. To lay at peace
under the sleeves of your beauty,
my journey becomes memory
as we become one
in vast seas of past lives...
you are my sister.
To honor my heritage,
to fly my flag,
ancient stones reveal my name
you remember me
or remember me not...
no matter,
I am one with my Sister,
holding hands through the forests of my ancestors,
we follow the beams of light
that harbor the realm of the ancients,
resting in that sweet, soft bed of dreams,
in my perfect ALL.
Will I see you there...my friend...

Okay. I'm in tears. I am moved beyond words and felt that deep into my heart as you took my feelings for our beloved Mother Nature and put them into words. Bless you beautiful Goddess.

O Sharon from IOWA! (blush!)

Sorry about the slip up! (I have changed it!) I am not totally with it! I am home from school today because my partner needed some dental treatment, so I'm travelling a bit rough! I have been in this way for the last week or so, and not doing all I should be! That is why your gift was such a welcome sight today!

Hoping today will help him and we can settle a little more again!

Still love this poem of yours! Read it yet again!

HUGS! dear friend!

I am here from Bird Tweets & need more time to read your wonderful blog - I am complaining today about my lack of time :). BUT I noticed Jami Sieber on your play list & I must tell you it is WONDERFUL to happen across someone who appreciates this music. Hidden Sky is my all time favorite CD - I have worn out more than one copy!
It's wonderful to meet you & I will be back.
