Shadow Shot Sunday...Shhhhh...

We are Sisters...
we are woman...
do you see us in shadow,
do you feel hidden power, shhhhh.
Eyes cast low to sorrow witnessed,
subservient...
strong bonds relate us,
our cache of harmony
unites us,
Mother love....
the fortification
that harbors the history
and relics of our tribe.
Servitude is our bloodline
submission is our strength
silence is our council.
A Goddess,
a domestic ruler,
though hidden in shadow
this Pacifist
will guide you from anger
into the halls of devotion, love and peace
with the gentle song of the siren...

DINNER IS SERVED...

S.Wilson

Shadow Shot Sunday...in Australia anyway...we can't help that we are all the way 'round the globe, we'll play anyway...won't you play too, go HERE.

I love these two Mexican statues I dragged all the way back to Iowa from Florida. Hidden 'neath a silver birch tree, they collect shadows all day long, but you must be quick to catch, these days are ever so fleeting...and like, where did the sun go!!!

Have a great Sunday, my Aussie friends!

Your poem is so true.... and then "dinner is served". Perfect ending!!! I just love all your poems, you are truly a poet in my book. You need to go to print, others would support your efforts. Thanks for the welcome home. See ya sometime next week.

Another beautiful poem Sharon!
{although we're still laughing about th "brining on the clowns" comment on Tracy's blog!

Don't you just love things that you drag cross country to come live with you? These statues are wonderful - no wonder you made the effort!

Just wonderful, both the statues and the poem. Where in Florida(where I live) did you find them? At first I thought they were Chinese.

The further away from where you drag things home, the more special they are. Cute shots. Oh, your birdie cloud shots were cool.

Those statues are awesome. I don't blame you for draggin' them home. I would to! Lovely shadows and poem. Have a super weekend Sharon!

I didn't read your 'bring on the clowns' comment correctly and I thought you said 'bring home the clowns' and now I have a bunch of weirdo clowns in my house that I have no idea what to do with!
