Shadow Shot Sunday...Sentinel...

guardian n
fleeting friend
I wish you would stay a while longer
swift moments n
spring passes
in the lives of old gals to the end
sisters n
companions
I'm lucky in love with you
the flourish n
the passing
yet we meet again and again
young n
yet old
seasoned guest at my step
live life n
harmony
move on into shadow
memories n
moments
we live for each day
fleeting
my sentinel
shall we meet again next year

Thank you for visiting my blog today and for your nice comment. When I first wrote my post about my project I called the wire thing..an industrial light cover...but the ever eagle-eyed Theresa spotted my mistake so I could fix it!! Thanks to blogland I was spared further embarrassment. xo Joan

I like your shadows, they look like dolphins to me.

Noted your wolfpatch. In Finland wolfs haven't kill any humans over 100 years but some people insists that they sould be shot so they feel safe. People..

Say hello to my little friends, LOL! 8D Happy SSS!

Great shadow...and tribute to the flowers that come & go! I'm always so sad when the spring flowers go...then happy again as the summer ones start to bloom....a few more months & we will be greeting new flowers!

Nothing more pretty than and old fashioned iris..I almost killed all the ones that were here. Thank heavens some are still coming up.
I got carried away with my weed whacker, last year, and hit them by mistake.
Beautiful poem and picture..Happy SSS.

Such beautiful, wistful sentiments in your poem! They seem to whisper yet resonate with such serious, powerful depth!

And the photo is quite mystical! Almost shades of shadow! A poetic continuation of your last post! A finale!

It is the Queen's Birthday weekend here in Australia, so I have a long weekend! Time to wander with photographs in between doing last reports for school!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Irises grew outside my grandmother's kitchen door--so they're among my favorites!

Catch the moment is what we say here, you never know about next year. Lovely picture of a Sentinel! Scrolling down I saw more beautiful flowers. Some of which I noticed around here too. Must be the weather. LOL

Your photo is gorgeous -- it's a shame irises last such a short time -- and good that you have a picture to hang onto!
