Shadow Shot Sunday...dem bones...

Whilst taking some shots for Etsy,
I couldn't help but notice the delicate patterns
my subjects were making on their stage...
lil' wire baskets from a Victorian era gone away...

Dem bones...
the skull of a duck I found while wandering
my field of dreams...

Dem bones...The Junk Asylum...
the new location is really coming 'round...
Lorie, with the help of many friends and family
is really pulling it all together...
THE SHOP LOOKS GREAT KIDS!!!

The boney cupboard that will hold the soaps
and candle tarts...

Dem bones...

Dem bones...

Dem decorating bones...
this is what it takes in our world of antiques
and junk and craft...
an artisans eye for fun...!

And for good measure sail away down under
and check out the shadow shooters...
we know how to have fun!
Hey, Harriet

the top photo looks like a spider web shadow...and i don't know, in all my years, that i have ever seen a duck's skull. lots of other animals...never a duck. interesting. all your photos are lovely...many treasures to be had in them.

hope you have an awesome weekend. see ya for coffee later.

Oh dem bones. The shop does look great! Never saw a duck's skull before. Very interesting. Once again, fine captures for ShadowShot Sunday.

Interesting shadows from interesting objects. Your shop looks like a fun place to explore

As for the duck, a plaintive 'Quack' is all I can muster...

A lovely shop you have! Eclectic barely describes these finds, a bevy of cool styling decor for the home. The shopper will not know what to buy (and hopefully leave with more than one item per trip...)

And I say, "You've got it, a lot of it!"

Great stuff. I don't know anyone that can take pictures of piles of junque and make it all look like artwork! (I spelled junk fancy so you knew I was serious)

The shadow shots are great. The first one looked like the edge of some sort of antique sun shade umbrella. Then, of course, I can see the wire baskets in the wide shot. Love the shadows either way!

Peace

I'm going to have "dem bones" rattling round my head all day! Love those filigree shadows from the baskets and I have never seen the skull of a duck before!

I neglected you last week! Only till later in the week I realised that I had visited and was so entranced with your postings! Detoured I think for lunch and then returned neglecting to comment! Sorry!

Fi8nally back at school for short hours this week! Believe it or not I am a bit nervous because I won't have my classes! Everything has changed, even my office! I'll be spending time unpacking but not supposed to lift! So it will be interesting!

At last a sunny day here! Hubby is craving to fish on a nearby pier and I am more than quite happy to spend time wandering the beach and taking photos!

Off first to look at more of your posts I have missed - especially the puppy mills one!

Extra super hugs because I missed last week!

COMPADRES

Shadows above me,
Shadows below;
Some shadows swift and
Some shadows slow;
All of these shadows,
It’s plain to see,
Are my compadres—
Sweet company!
