Working at home...

Been playin' around with nest paintings again,
just a cheap Good Will 8x10 frame painted flat black, glass and all,
then I paint on the nest with acrylics...
a whimsical fantasy nest...it's all about the home...
for a mere $20.00...
sweet!

Another Good Will find...and what a find,
nary a chip or crack anywhere on this vintage piece,
just a little discoloration from time...perfect...
in my world!

Another Salvation Army piece, this primitive sideboard will get
a coat of fresh white paint Sunday, then it's up to Sisters' Garden
on Tuesday, weather permitting...
you never know this time of year whether you can go
or be stranded, best to listen to the weather radio
before taking to the road of adventure in the Midwest!

Hate to tell ya, another Salvation Army piece...
but this lil' cutie has been stripped and will stay as is,
it's in perfect condition...why...
why would anyone want to give up these darling pieces???

Just another day of reflection at THE PINK CHATEAU...
it doesn't take much to find the beauty in every day!

Doesn't take much when you have an eye for beauty..which you certainly do! The sunset in the window is amazing...

Love the new pieces, girl!!! Where do you paint in this freezing weather? I'm revamping the Booth on Monday. I hate that I have to do it during business hours but no dealer work night - suck!!! January started strong but the bad weather slowed things down a bit. Hope business is good up Iowa way!!

Stay toasty,
Sistah nut
