Shadow Shot Sunday...It's Not Easy to be Strange

What an in'tresting world
to be stranger than strange
out of the shadow to light
eyes brightened with visions
of ghouls and such fright
to be Bride of Chucky
or not
that I might...

To see with eyes glowing
other worldly perhaps
the need for enlightenment
yes but at night
this strange that I feel
is it straightforward wit
or lunacy albeit
too weird to be real
yet one needs to have moxie
and o' course balls of steel...

Odd is this strange duck
but envied fer sure
her feathers worn twisted
if not weird and unfurled
of fate and of art
in a pond full of sharks...
yet
with so many fishes
in this sea we call strange
they're the 'catch o' the day'
this lunatic tribe
be it odd be it gay
who's to say it's macabre
I have a mission
you wanna to play...

Sorry...I just couldn't resist...It's Shadow Shot Sunday again, which means it's Sunday in Australia. Is it my imagination or are the weeks just flying by. But head on over to the rest of the shadow shooters and be a part of the strange(or is it just me)...

Sorry - I'll try again - my fingers were moving faster than my brain.

Thank you for reminding me that I have to see the eye specialist next week. Thank you also for bringing back the nightmares I used to have as a little girl!

Hi Sweet Repose. I couldn't help but read your comment over at Mary T's
And I wondered where you lived that you had sixty degree weather..
Iowa!
I thought that the weather would be a whole lot colder!
My brother lives in Sumner, Iowa.

Your hair is so pretty. My sister,Gracey has lovely long white hair like yours and she is just stunning.
When I have a little more time, I am going to come and read a little of your beautiful blog....from Terry...Southern Ontario

PS I am 59 too and so is Felisol...

Dear Sweet Repose.
I think the comment on "Sisterhood of the Traveling Scarf" was for me, eh?
That is a very good blog that I am part of but my main blog is Canadian Blogger...I want you to see the huge icicles that are there on our little white house,a house that looks a lot like the light blue house that your parents bought once.
The house we live in is in the War Time Housing section...it is about sixty or more years old.
You see I do want the time to see the rest of your posts.
Oh so many nice blogs and so little time Sweet Repose!...Terry
