Shadow Shot Sunday...Hi...Goodbye...

Well, I'm out the door again
off to work...
will the parade of boxes ever end
like the endless coal trains
that power the engines
of the lifeblood of our cities
good and bad
like it or not
there will always be more
blocking the crossings
filled with the juice that runs our biz
this engineer will digress...

there is no clean coal
just a happy medium
of empty boxes

see ya...

A talking doll...that is a fun object to have the sun induced shadows fall upon. We see your creativity always, never any fatigue. Caffeine is an antidite, though...

What a process, huh? I don't envy you! At least, not with the boxes galore! But, what a cool shadow shot!

I've only been away for a week or so, but it looks like you've gotten a lot accomplished. Can't wait to visit the new shop!
My Shadow Shot Sunday this week is about a motorcycle ride I participated in every year for four years. We ride right through Muscatine and right past that mall where your new shop is located.
Great Shadow Shots. Best of everyuthing as you unpack the boxes.

Peace.

No clean coal but plenty of boxes! Such a "fresh" comment which offers quite a number of thoughtful challenges! I am still making comparisons and getting ideas!

Your poetry has a "scattered" feeling! I guess that comes with ultra busy-ness. But it is enigmatic, with threads leading to deeper tensions! (Sorry! The teacher in me is surfacing! Bad!)

I guess you could say I have had a "scattered" week but in a good way! I have actually been on 2 school excursions! (I have turned over a new leaf this year and thought that it was time to get out a bit!)

One excursion was with the senior drama students to see "Shakespeare's R and J". A very modern, unusual version of the play but fascinating! Give it an overlay of "Dead Poets' Society" - with students becoming literary role players - and you have the general idea! I also took the opportunity to do an urban photoshoot of Melbourne after the play!

The other excursion was to the Holocaust Museum at Elsternwick, a suburb of Melbourne! The Year 10 students were quite in awe being able to speak with Holocaust survivors. And of course, when we took the Year 10 students to a park for lunch, I had a little photoshoot of the lake, the bridge and the birds! Another great day!

It felt strange after two days out turning up on Friday to teach! But I had so much "catch-up" to do that it didn't take long for routine exhaustion to set in!

Enjoy your week! It sounds you are almost in your new world! So exciting!

SUPER HUGS from Aussieland!

You must be exhausted - what a daunting task - but it will be over before you know it and you'll be in your new place and the fun of taking things out of boxes will begin!

Lovely shadowy dolly here!

All the work will be well worth it!

You need to get that doll to give you a hand with all of those boxes! Gosh it all sounds like such hard work, but it'll all be worth it in the end. You'll see! Eventually. Once you can see beyond all of those boxes... :)

Have a great week, take care and get some rest during such a busy time!

Hey, that looks like my Chatty Cathy, the one I decided to crack open the body to see where that voice was coming from when I was wee. I drove past the old place the other day and just lamented on "good times". Yes, time to move on. There is so much more to live and discover; a new beginning and I think for the best!!! I am very excited to see you two turn the page and find out what new life is being breathed into untapped talents. Happy Mother's Day today, mom #1.

Hey there you hard working person : ) The shadow hand struck me as exactly that .. hard work glued to the earth by way of that shadow .. then the baby doll .. now that was a surprise .. maybe the little one in us all still hanging in through the turmoil ?
Wow .. deep thinking eh ? LOL
Take care
Joy : )
