Where's Scratchy...

???????????????????????
I'm the invisible predator...hear me roar...

The winds whipped and howled last night and torrential rains fell all night,
I love to watch the grasses swaying in the fading light of day...

The leaning house of pinkness...
however, it was rather rough on the old birdhouse last night,
methinks its post has seen it's last days...

My husband used to brag incessantly about his peppers...
however for me, it's the berries...do let me go on...

Hee Hee...

Another day of not talking shop or furniture pictures, just an ordinary day
at the Pink Chateau...
However, I think I will be scouting out and about the grounds for the wee kitten that meowed
all night long all around my house.
I was very close to it a couple of times, I could hear it, but couldn't see it's frightened lil' soul
in the dark stormy night...
Scratchy, the cat-hater will tell me of it's return!

Don't ya hate it when that happens...

Baby kittens, oh, can't they be noisy... especially when the window is open and it tugs on your heart when it goes on and on and on...
Did Pip make your birdhouse? It is as cute as can be.
We ended up with 4" in two hours... I thought the corn was going to float away!!!

I love Scratchy! My cairn is also a predator...she doesn't allow any other animals, birds, whatever in her yard. She guards every corner... every moment... They are so funny. The most entertaining dog I have ever owned...tho, she thinks that she owns me. She may be right!

Love that picture of your chateau and the windblown grass - it has a real timeless quality - could be from 100 years ago almost anywhere in the country. Easy to see why you love your home and land so.

Sharon, you bought those strawberries. I can't believe you have such a green thumb. I thought you had just started gardening a year or so ago. My winkie grabbed one of the barn kittens yesterday...
Looks pretty up your way.
