Shadow Shot Sunday...the Pea and the Universe..

can you ever take
life too serious
and why would you want to
it's but a spec
in the belonging
if I can laugh
at myself
and my strange
little world
odd lil'
friends hiding
in the shadows
of my dreams
then why wouldn't you

see the humor
feel the laughter
take the chance
soar with the skylark
run with the winds
dance to the drumming
of your own heart's moment
feel the beat
of the universe
dream of Pandora

why not

we are all
stranger than life
we are the seeds
of all that will be
we are the hope
of the star dust
and the reason
to smile
and to breath
and to feel

it is good to be green
(Kermit T. Frog) know the game...Hey Harriet's the name, head on over or down under, check us out!

Well, my new lil' alien yard ornament was basking in the sun the other day and I just couldn't resist it's blinding green sheen...isn't he/she just the cutest...I think I'll name it 'Pea'...

Whether 'Mulder' would approve matters not, he just goofs off all day how many peeps do you know that have two lime green aliens in there yards...thought so...

heehee...have a laugh-filled weekend friends!

He looks like a green ET - who perhaps called home and is back where he belongs. Relaxing under the arm Iowa sky, keeping the sun off his head to avoid heat exhaustion...

Love it! I now wish I would of purchased a little green guy when we stopped in Roswell on our vacation last year. They had many bright green things!

That is too cute and too RIGHT .. I wonder why we have such a hard time facing the fact that we are truly just bits of dust that take such a tiny amount of time up in the universe ? I love green .. you have to .. to be a gardener ! : )

Lime green aliens casting shadows of light and laughter! What better way to begin a Sunday morning! Love it all! Somehow or other I just gotta meet you sister! If I get the smallest opportunity I'm gonna take it! So watch out!

Do I sound a bit dramatic and desperate? That's the "o help - it's-school-report-time-blues" kicking in! I try to psyche myself up for it and bribe myself with chocolate to get a number done per day! But it's still a traumatic experience and not really kind on the sleeping department either! Would you believe, I have even been doing more blog posts when I can't sleep! So sad!

But the Autumn weather has been kind! Soft sunny days with a slightly chilled breeze! Beautiful for walking! And that's what I'll be doing in a few minutes to take a break! (Plus camera of course!

Wonderful news about your new exploits! You deserve every bit of kudos!

Enjoy your week ahead! Biggest HUGS from Ozland!

Sharon, that alien is classic. I've never seen an alien yard ornament. Mulder and Scully would love it though my winkies would bark at it incessantly. PS ~ I've been having terrible nightmares every night for a week. Whatsupwiththat?

haha! You crack me up! I can't say I know anyone who has lime green aliens in their gardens! And hey, I think Mulder would approve!

You may start a new trend here. A trend that I'd love to see take off! Have yourself a great week, and thanks for the giggles :)
