Consumer Confidence and Peace

By the look of the crowds at the White House Mall, the people have spoken. A change is in the air, everyone feels it, everyone wants to be a part of the history. A peaceful celebration of many colors, of many traditions...all together welcoming history and change into their lives.
We know this won't be easy for the new President, but the world backs him and now it's our turn to be the change, to wake up and rise up out of the chaos of the last eight years.
To cure a planet in turmoil...yes it's a huge burden to carry, but it's time...time for PEACE and time for a country, under one God and one purpose, Peace and Liberty for all.
Tranquility bonds
a nation comes together
PEACE will be restored.

It is wonderful to have a president we can believe in. May he be strong and brilliant and have peace in his heart.

Amen to this!!! I'm absorbed by the Inaugural coverage on television this morning ... grateful I have the leisure time to watch ... amazed at how many folks are braving the cold temperatures to actually BE present for this historical event ... responding to comments and emails during commercial breaks. Such are the simple joys of retirement.
Hugs and blessings,

Just heard that, according to the Secret Service, there has not been one single arrest by any police agency in the Washington area today. Which, I think says something very profound about how we feel about our new president.
