erect sentinels guard truths
as misty mauve meets azure water
life's fragile web
be not deceived.
While living in Florida, I visited the sanctuaries often, always looking for gators or any other fauna of the region and the illusive shot to add to my collection of pictures for a time when I knew I wouldn't be living there...memories, I can still smell the air on the beach.
