Please Ma...

Come on, I'll be good, just throw it one time, then I'll quit (yeah right)...PLEASE, I'm so cute you can't resist, let's play chase the stick!!!

Nothin' like a roll in the cool grass on a warm summer's day (sounds like a chigger fest to me) and no this isn't doggy porn, it's just puppy love and she knows how to be so cute you just have to throw that damn stick...over and over, terriers are sooooooo tenacious. And I'm not really seeing any honey bees so I may as well bite.

I check the flowers every day to see if the bees are around, but all I see are strange looking bees. There is one that is similar, but not totally it and boy does he know how to pack in the pollen. They look like great giant, yellow saddlebags protruding from his sides. Of course I see alot of bumble bees, but again, they used to be huge, now I only see the smaller ones.

Our planet is changing before our very eyes. Species will become extinct and we will again ask why or when did that happen...it happened the minute man became the supreme species on the planet...it's been downhill ever since...pity, such a glorious blue planet.

Don't know about you, but I'm waitin' for the Mother Ship...hope I got my camera...HA...come on Scratch, let's chase the stick...

What a gorgeous little ball of fluff is your Scratchy! I wouldn't be able to resist either, even if I should have been doing other stuff at the time!

Your comment about bees is fascinating! Strange how their numbers appear to be diminishing in the U.S. I don't know of any stats on Australian bees and whether we have a similar phenomenon. I have seen bess here on my Peninsula, but can't say in great numbers!

Lovely post as always!

How can you EVER resist that sweet little soul?? And, yes, our beautiful worls is suffering - kepp watching for those bees. You are like our earth-angel - gently nudging and reminding and informing - thank you, my friend!

What a cutie. Is she a Cairn Terrier?

People don't realize what a disaster it will be when the last honeybees are gone.

Ha! Princess Bubbles will sit where she can look me straight in the face with her ears perked up and will give a little growl for me to STOP what I'm doing to play with her! At least Scratch is being polite about it! lol

We still have plenty of huge bubble bees here.

I'm thinking the Mother ship won't be coming but you might want to listen for the sound of hoofbeats.
