Sunday Score...

I'm starting to enjoy these Sunday outings for junk. Kinda gets you away to the country side and outa the house (work), just a relaxing day of trying to beat the other dealers to the best bargains...ahhh paradise, you know you are in your element when you can't believe some of the prices and what bargains you scored....I LOVE MY NEW TOYS...

Well, I got a really cool old gold, oval mirror, which will stay gold (unless a fee is attached), a cool gold oval frame, but it is not a cool gold, newer and no chips...must be white...with chips, wonderful old prints of women and pastorals, a great pale green, floral rug (which looks mawvelous in front of Scratchy's throne, a couple of parlor tables, one gets painted for sure (it's avocado green), a little vanity stool, a white prim bench, two awesome tall, iron plant stands, a pair of burlap coffee bags, an old baby doll and a baby head...ya'll down South, eat yer hearts out...tomorrow the cleaning and the pricing begins

I am delighting in your travels for bits and pieces. Many of your items I have never seen before! It's a whole new world for me!

But having said that, here is a secret of mine. When I lived in Sydney, I used to roam all the odd little op shops and loved finding treasures. The passion continued in Tasmania. That was a mecca! And my interest upgraded to furniture and ornaments.

Since living here in Melbourne, the passion has faded, as the wallet doesn't allow for much extra these days! But I am happy writing and taking pics! And now your travels feed my interest in this area!

I am so fortunate!
