Shadow Shot Sunday #12

Certain Future-Light
Is it you my summer friend
or is it false hope
fading into shadow.
Seasons will ebb,
as I quicken
toward hope of a certain future.
Unfaltering, light forms strong
bonds to self.
Yet constant is the shadow,
drawing ever near,
as fragility
flies full wing'd,
feeding into
certain light.

Shadow Shot Sunday is again upon us. Join in the fun at Hey Harriet ,a record number last week, let's try and beat the numbers. Take a shot of your favorite shadow, post on Tracey's blog and give the others a shout.

My little metal sculpture shines bright in the fading sun of the afternoon, grabbing a final feast before it's lights out.

This is exquisite! A humble tap (I think you may call it a faucet methinks becomes a work of art in shadow!

Your poem seems to dream along beautifully!

And the music playing now! There is something about it that makes me feel as if I am drifting around some higher level of consciousness. Strangely, I don't know the artist at all! Perhaps I should!

A pretty black bird drinking from a shadow tap! That's a super cool shot! Again, a lovely poem also! Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

Oh Sharon! I think the shadow of this is actually more beautiful than the piece itself! It looks so...perfect! You are definitely on a roll here with all your shots! I am blown away!

You highlight one of the simple joys of both looking and gardening.
I loved both the picture and the poem.

Perfect! I have a favor to ask - may I use this on my PERSONAL little ab=album of photos of the little hummingbird family I've been documenting? (I am also a "paper and photos" album kind of gal - again - just for my personal use) I will even put a tag that says "Photography by Sweet Repose!"
Hard to say "no" now, huh??! Really great photo - and your words, as usual, are PERFECT!
